CHAPTER ONE

I'll just catch u up.

My name is Medusa, I dont have a last name. Thats because I dont have a family. The only thing I know about my real family is that I was named after my grandma. I am an orphan, I never really stayed in a family. Its always once they have their own child 'Bye bye Medusa'. And then they will take me back to the orphanage.

I never really made friends. I knew once I make a friend they wil just get adopted and I will be left alone, again. When I was bored or lonely I would just go to the park and communicate with animals. But they closed the park to build a huge tower there. Thats why I tried to go into the forest. At first I couldnt even go halfway in there. I was to scared. So I stayed mostly wandering around the streets.

One day when I was 11 I went inside after a whole day in the city and a letter was right there on the ground like it was waiting for me. I was way to tired to read it so I layed it on the table to read it the next day. When I woke up I went downstairs to look what was written in the letter. But when I went up to the table it was gone. I looked everywhere, in drawers, under my bed, in the fridge and even on the toilet.

That week I was looking everywhere in the city for a letter. I knew something about eh hogwarts and witchery was on it? Im not sure. But anyways I couldn't find anything about it.

The next year on excactly the same day I woke up from some loud bird noises. I walked out of my house and I And thats when I looked up. Hundreds of owls were flying above the orphanage. I triend to lead them to the forest with a piece of bread but I almost got hit by a bus. Then the owls just flew away into the mist.

So two years have gone by im now 13 years old. Also havent been adopted in those 2 years. Looks like I won't be having a family sooner or later I guess. I've been reading more books recently to pass time.

I did make one friend here in the city. His name is Draco Malfoy. He has blonde hair and grey eyes. Him and I are very diffrent but yet so alike. We dont love the same things but we do think alike. And even tho he is scared of most animals I show him, he is able to like some them.

So this one time I told Draco to close his eyes and open his hands. I layed a wet gummy bear on his hand and he thought it was a snail. His reaction was hilarious!

Draco asked me to go to the carnaval tomorrow. Ofcourse i said yes, but then i remembered i was broke. Draco told me he wanted to pay. I wasn't sure to say yes but otherwise he had to go alone and it wouldnt be so fun without me. So I told him to meet me at 3 o' clock the next day. Then i went back to the orphanage. I went straight to bed and struggled to fall asleep.

The present

I woke up from someone banging on my door. 'Girls breakfast is ready, come down before its gone.' said the lady who worked here. I litterly fell out of my bed because of the banging. 'ugh, not so loud' I mumbled to myself. The girl whom i shared a room with was already gone. I slowly made my way downstairs. 'ah there u are... uhh my child come and eat will you.' the lady said. ''Medusa'' I said. ''what?'' ''Medusa, thats my name miss'' ''oh yeah right' she said while walking away.

Once I finished my breakfast I went back to my room to read. Hours were passing while it felt like minutes. I looked at the time. "oh no." I gasped. I was 12 minutes to late. I still need to put my dress on and my shoes and brush my teeth. I was running so fast i almost got hit by a bicycle.

Once I got there I saw Draco walking away. I grabbed him by the jacked and said:"Draco, wait!" He looked back and slapped me. "oh shi.. Sorry didnt see you there." "I thought u wouldnt show up." he said. "ofcourse I would, I'd just lost track of time.'' ''Well what are we waiting for lets go.'' said Draco with excitement.

'Look at that!' I said while pointing at a huge Rollercoaster. 'Lets do that first!' 'uhmm, sure im not scared of that Rollercoaster.' He said with confidence. Once we were in line Draco had a terrified look on his face. 'Are you sure you want to go?' I asked him. 'huh what, ofcourse i want to go this thing is nothing to be scared off.' Draco said with no confidence at all.

When it was our turn to get in Draco was still playing it ''cool''. He was yelling the whole time! 'Wasn' t that bad. ' he said with almost no voice left. I looked at him like he was crazy.

Draco wanted to sit down on a bench. He was feeling nauseous but he didnt want to admit it. After a minute he ran to the garbage can to puke but he missed.' OMG DRACO WHAHAHA'. 'Ugh shut up Medusa.'

When he was feeling a little better I asked him if I needed to take him home. 'No just go, my house isn' t that far away. '' no Draco let me take you home, I assist.' I said.' MEDUSA JUST GO!' He yelled at me.' Well sorry for asking jeez.

I went back to the orphanage. My head was filled with worries. I couldnt even read a book properly. I gave up and tried to sleep even though i wasn't tired.

I woke up really early. I didnt worry so much anymore because Draco has his own little problems. I went downstairs i expected someone to already be making the food but the room was empty. Thats when I realised the sun hasn't rised up yet. I was really hungry so I made my own cereal. I wanted to go back to bed but I wasn't tired. Then I left the orphanage to go to the forrest.

I putted my shoes and my jacket on and opend the door. Once I went out of the door a sack was pulled over my head. All i saw in that second was a glimpse of 3 guys in suits and one guy holding a stick. 'SOMEONE HELP! HELP ME!!' I said while freaking out. 'can't this kid just shut her mouth.' I heard a guy say. I wanted to talk back but I almost couldn't breathe. They brought me to some ally it was cold and stinky. 'Okay kid get ready.' an other man said. 'Ready for what?' I asked myself.
