Chapter 15

Everyone decided it was best to not get out of the locker no matter what. After what just happend between NightStar and Barb. Barb remained silent since her argument with NightStar. She lean against the wall while she crossing her arms as she sighed in saddness. She felt, guilty, confused, stupid, little surprised about what she just said. Why did she just said that after that everything is cool between them now? She was just a kid, now she is probably hating her now. She and her big mouth. But what suspects her the most, it was NightStar's sudden changing appearance for just a second. Then she just turns back to normal, like in a flash. When she meet her during 'World Tour', she had insulted her for being a 'Pipsqueak'. Yet she didn't get that mad at her. Also she was quite curious why is she the only Troll with wings and magic in the first place.

NightStar felt, scared, ashamed, sad and guilty. Still sitting at her small corner with her face buried in her arms. She lost her temper at the wrong time! Why does it had to be now?! Everyone knows about her 'Anger Issues' and BloodStar, her 'Angry Form', so it wasn't secret for her to lose her temper at someone. Yet again she doesn't like to get mad at someone, especialy her friends and family, but she can't hide her anger at something that hurts her feelings. The young Troll thought decides to stop thinking about that, and focus to help Derrick with the 'Music Contest'.

"Ya okay sugar?" Delta Dawn asked her as she sat down next to her.

"Yeah, i'm fine..." She replied. "Thanks for asking..." Yet she didn't smiled.

Delta then added. "What happend between ya and Barb?"

NightStar wasn't sure what to say to her. "I-It was nothing... Just got mad cause she... Said something..." The poor sensitive Troll can't help but started to cry, remembering what Barb said.

Delta knew that her cries meant that Barb really had done it now. She wraped her arms around to confort the young Troll. Like what a Mother would do. She then thought of giving Barb a piece of her mind as she frowned.

"S-She, s-said t-that w-where h-here cause of m-me..!" NightStar added throught her sobbs. "...and w-what s-she s-said... It's true!"

She cried even more as Delta was now her turn of feeling mad at Barb to say that to her, on account she's the youngest out of all of them.

"I'm t-the reason w-why w-where here..! I'm t-the one w-who c-caused to g-get l-lost in this p-place in t-the first place..!" NightStar said letting all out throught her cries. If only she had let someone else to watch out the portal for her. Why did she just had to be a weakling to not just simply tell the other tribes the truth about everything?

Delta then looked at her in the eyes and told her. "Look, I may not be a know it all, but just know that it wasn't your fault that where here..."

"B-But..." She was about to say something but Delta shush her.

"I know what I said and i'm sorry." Delta said as she also felt bad about yesterday as well. "I didn't know how ta react ta this hole thing. I'm not mad at ya no more."

NightStar knew that she was telling the truth. She finally calmed down as she said those words. Delta wipped off her tears and gave her a smile. She gave her a small smile in return but still felt sad. "I know... It's just... Why does everytime I do something good ends bad..?"

"It happends ta all of us hun, ya can't stop it from happenin', but it's not too late to make it better..." Delta said. She got up and went to have a 'talk' with Barb.

NightStar thought about what she said. Delta kinda remined of her Mom back home. Conforting her, listens to her even talks to her wondering what's bothering her. Despite will she understand the truth about her?
