Chapter 12

"Food..." NightStar said as if she was dreaming. Derrick took out some food from the fridge for the trolls to eat. There where donuts, cookies, and glasses of cold milk for them. They where so hungry they hadn't eat all day.

"...it's so beautiful..." NightStar squealed, as she and the other grabed a snack to eat as they are relief to finally having something to feed themselves

"Seems like you guys haven't eat in a while." Derrick said seeing the trolls' full mouths.

"We haven't eat since this morning." NightStar said while eating a dougnut. "We would have if two someones and another someone, would have taken at least some food and given us the food she wanted to eat it herself..!" She gave a glare to Barb, Branch and Poppy. The three trolls felt a little guilty about the events that happend.

The human teen looked between them. "By the looks of it, something happend."

"We don't wanna talk about it..." Trollex said not wanting to tell the events of the chase.

"Anyways... Derrick could you tell us more about yourself?" Poppy asked before making things awkward between her friends.

"Well i'm a year away from graduating High School. I'm the Arts Programs' Music learder. As you can see I live in this house with my parents, brother and sister." He explained. "My Dad is a Business man from a shoe company. My Mom is a Doctor, she works almost all the time to help others. My younger brother Kaleb is a basketball player in his school, best of his team. My sister Gina is a ballet dancer and an artist, last year she won an art show in her school, she got in the news paper which cause her to get a free scolarship in her future High School she's going to, my school, after summer vacation. If there's even still gonna be an Arts Program next year..."

"Woah, wait what do you mean 'If there's still gonna be an Arts Program'?" Barb clearly heard what he said about this Arts Program the human teen just mentioned.

Derrick sighed. "They plan to shut it down if we don't get the money to pay the schoolboard in time."

"What..?!" Poppy gasped as the Trolls where also shocked to hear that.

"No..." The twins sadly added.

"That's just... Horrible...!" Trollzart felt sorry to hear that.

"Yep. No 'Arts Program', no art in School, for good..." Derrick respond.

"Bumers..." Prince D shook his head in saddness.

"Not unless if we win the prize money on a 'Music Contest' on friday. We can still save it." The human smirked the good thing about it.

"Well that's good news!" Essence happily said.

"I was just about to say that, and now I don't know what to say about it..." NightStar said trying her best to smile, since Essence jinxed it.

"But my band and I have to find what song are we going to sing for the competition. As leader of the band I have to chose that song, and I don't know which one." Derrick explained.

Upon hearing that he needs help, Poppy dawned on something. "Guys, circle now...!" She whispered. The Trolls gaddered as a circle once more.

"Okay this like the third time we did this... What does she has to say now...?!" Quincy whispered to Essence. His wife just  shruged, as they all listened to what Poppy has to say.

"Poppy, are you thinking what i'm think right now, that I guessed it just now...?" NightStar asked.

"If it's to help Derrick with his 'Music Contest', then yes, I am thinking what your thinking that i'm thinking...!" Poppy said with a big smile.
