The Mating Moon

Chapter 14

We need a plan on how to get Esme back before I lose my fucking mind. I'm pacing back and forth in the meeting room as my enforcers look at me, as if I'm about to snap.

"if you all spent more time thinking, rather then staring at me maybe Esme would be in my arms right now." I spat at them.

James is the first to speak, "Alpha, you need to calm down in order to come up with a proper plan of action" I know he is right but that doesn't stop me from punching the wall behind me.

Next thing I know someone is grabbing my arm, it's the dumb bitch Nina. I pull my arm away and walk off, I go to my room in hopes that Esme's lingering scent can calm me.

Of course the dumb bitch follows me and tries to touch me, "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" I yell at her, then I add, "Shouldn't you be with your mate?" I question her.

She shrugs, "I never wanted him I wanted you, I want to be your mate. And now that whore is out of the way, so we can be together." She finishes

Something in me snaps and I grab her neck and pick her up off the floor, "how could you talk about your mate like that, and don't ever disrespect my mate, EVER AGAIN" I tell her, "you know what you are talking like you had something to do with her abduction." I say noting the connection.

She stays quiet as I settle her back on the floor, I then drag her back down stairs to the dinning room where everyone is sitting eating dinner. I toss her on the table not really caring if anything broke.

James doesn't look phased his eyes meet mine waiting for my instruction, "interrogate her, she had something to do with the abduction, oh and James go to Sarah and have her check if any hex's have been placed on you. I have a feeling Nina did something to you to make you think you where her mate." He nods and does exactly what I say, as Alex drags Nina to the interrogation room.

Once we got to the room Alex begins working immediately, kind of enjoying every little pain he inflicts. It's his way if getting revenge for Jade since we can't really hurt who we want to hurt.

Nina talks almost immediately, "I only told them that you were hiding Julie and then I told them to take Esme so that you could be away from her, because I wanted you for myself."

Alex keeps questioning her like how to get in to the Crescent Pack territory without them noticing and then he asked about James and that was where things took a turn because the man himself was in the room.

"On the night of the mating moon I noticed everyone was finding their mates so the next morning I found James with his mate. So I used a hex my grandma taught me and made them both forget they were mates and made it look like I was his mate with a few scent changing spells." Nina spills while crying in pain from the torcher that Alex was inflicting.

James came up to her and pulled her hair up so that their eyes met, "who is my true mate!" She cries harder if possible, "Julie"

After James and Julie get di-spelled they were able to fully embrace the fact that they are true mates. I could see true happiness on James face not the annoyed expression he had when he was with Nina.

Alex and I made a decent pln with the help of the information that Nina gave us.

We are ready to get Esme back.
