Chapter 15

Esme

I've been stuck in this prison for like three days now. I still cant believe that bitch could do this. Well I know she is a bitch but still she had a mate, so I don't see what she could have gained from this.

Kyle is really creepy in my opinion, he hasn't tried anything on me yet but sometimes he will stare on me through the bars of the cage. I hope I get out of here soon because I know that fucker is waiting for the right moment to try something. And with me being pregnant I cant out power him and he knows that.

All of a sudden I can hear commotion outside, I cant help but smile did Oliver come for me. I know I'm far from where the commotion is coming from but my hearing can still pick up some voices. I can hear Alex and James at the front fighting but I cant hear Oliver's voice.

Suddenly I can smell my mate hes close, I can feel it. Next thing I know I see run past my cell, "Luke, I'm here!" I signal to him.

He turns around with a smile, "Hey princess, Oliver went the other way I'll tell him you're here" he tells me pulling out his phone. All of a sudden his nose flares and he looks back to me with an even bigger smile, "NO way, James owes me 100 dollars."

I looked at him with a scowl, "Did you seriously bet on whether or not I would get pregnant." He shakes his head, "No, we were betting who would get pregnant first you or Jade. I bet you would and James bet Jade and obviously I won." He explained with a victorious smile plastered on his face.

I shook my head in disbelief, as Oliver scent came closer. Once he got to me he smiled and immediately looked for a way to get the gate opened.

Luke nudged his shoulder, "hey bro, I know your busy trying to get her out and all but can you sense anything different about the alpha female?"

Oliver gives Luke a questioning look and then looks me over, his nose flaring. He gives me a shocked look and I nod confirming his guess, I didn't know whether to smile or cry so I bit my lip instead while weighting for his reaction. He smiled widely almost immediately and pulled the door open with his strength and pulls me into a tight hug, "Oh, babe this is amazing. But lets focus on getting out of here first before we celebrate." He explains as I nod my agreement.

We make our way out of the house and as we make our way outside we walk past a bunch of dead bodies scattered everywhere, 'ew did I just step in some brain.'

Oliver was first to explain, "Alex and James were really excited to get revenge for their mates."

I looked at him weird, "James? I don't remember Nina getting injured in the struggle."

He shook his head, "I explain later" as he guided me through the dense forest and back to the cars waiting right outside the territory with an enforcer waiting inside.

He placed me in the car next to him in the back seat as Luke took the front and Alex and James took the other car behind us.

The car ride back was quiet but I finally exhaled the breath I didn't know I was holding in as I snuggled closer to Oliver.

Once we made it back Oliver guided me to the pack doctor and healers. He wasn't going to relax till he knew that I wasn't hurt or touched while I was there. Even though I already told him that no one had touched me multiple times.

I haven't been able to talk to anyone since we got back, and Oliver refuses to leave my side.

I sit on the exam table in the small medical room while Oliver paces back and forwards. The doctor finally comes in with my test results, "Esme seems to be fine no obvious wounds or marks to indicate torcher. She is a bit dehydrated but that can be fixed with some fluids, she is also about 8 weeks pregnant. Congratulations Alphas."

Oliver finally relaxes and walks over to, grabs hold of my face and kisses me. I take that moment to tell him the obvious, "you know I wouldn't have let anyone hurt me, right? I would have kicked their asses." He just chuckles, "of course, babe."

After the doctor finally released me I we made our way back to the pack house where everyone was waiting for me. As soon as I walk in I can see everyone turn their worried faces into smiles and Lizzie is the first to rush over to me and give me a big hug, and of course she has tears in her eyes.

She looks down at me with a questioning look, "OMG congrats girl!" She exclaims. Then suddenly everyone's noses flare, now they all know that I'm pregnant.

They all congratulate me and tell me ow happy they are that I was ok. Then Julie and James make their way to me and I give them a questioning look when I spot that they are holding hands. They both laugh and explain everything that went down with Nina and how she was still locked away in the basement.

Oliver still doesn't know how to punish her behavior. His father had given her mother a half witch half werewolf refuge in his pack when he saw that she was pregnant with Nina. Even though she was an annoying bitch he feels bad for her in a way. He told me since she harmed me the most it would be up to me on what to do with her as far as her punishment. I told him I would think about it.

The rest of the day went by smoothly and I just wanted to lay in my bed with Oliver and sleep.
