I'll never forget how he walked out of my house. Hand clutched over heart, he nodded slowly and a single tear fell off his cheek as he exited. I saw him gaze through my window helplessly. I felt the tiniest pinch of sorrow.. But I remembered how much I hated him for leaving me and scowled, walking up to the window and closing the drapes. Smirking at my sass, I strode back over to my work table. I brainstormed ways to get my wisp of Argon, and my phone rang. I reached for it and picked it up, answering. I didn't bother checking who it was, considering I felt like I already knew. "You've reached me." I answered plainly. "Rosie. Come down to my house." I frowned. "Bren, you know I'm busy." I complained, flopping into my computer chair and going onto my website for chemists. "Roseeeeeee." Bren whined and I rolled my eyes. "I need my argon." I whined mockingly and smirked. I put my phone on speaker and set it down, scrolling on the website. "But that's what I want to talk to you about." Bren said, still sounding whiney. "Since when do you know about chemichals?" I questioned, shaking my head and clicked on Argon, finding a list of extremely high prices. "Woah, I can't afford that." I half-whispered. "Just come to my house, Rose! I'll see you soon." He said as a closing. "Don't you dare ha-" Click. I made a mental note to smack him when I got to his house as I logged off my computer and gathered my things. I closed the door to my labratory and shoved my items into my bag. Bag slung half-heartedly over my shoulder, I exited my house.

I approached the driveway of Bren's house and sighed, beginning to climb the hill of a driveway he has. Out of breath, I knocked on his door. He answered and practically pulled me inside. "Jesus, Bren. Eager as always, hm?" I questioned teasingly, I knew his little "secret." It was obvious. I mean, who could resist me? Bren stared at my eyes and I raised an eyebrow questioningly. "Yea." He replied sheepishly and looked at the ground. A little too much eye contact for his comfort zone, I suppose. "So, why'd you want me to come over?" I questioned, setting my bag down and kicking off my Converse. As if I didn't already know the answer, I'm too irresistable and he wanted to just stare at me like a pervert, but I knew there was probably an excuse weaseled in there. "Your Argon." He said, still taking an interest in his socks. "What about it?" I questioned skeptically and blinked. Bren looked up at me and took a small test tube from his pocket, a purple liquid bubbling inside it. I took it cauciously and looked at Bren. He wore a sad look.. the look you give everybody when your pet or something dies and you're suddenly mad at the world. "Thanks.. this must've costed a plethora of green..." I trailed off, mentally planning what to say next. I was speechless, it was amazing of him to do this for me. I took a step towards him and hugged him semi~awkwardly. I felt him hold his breath. The weirdest thing happened, though. I didn't let go this time.
