It's been at least a couple of hours.

I was shivering to the bone.

Fucking shit...I should've bought extra clothing.

But at least I could get some when I arrived in a town.

Sure I was running the risk of seein those bastards, but I didn't care.

There's a reason why I took self-defense classes.

Why the fuck didn't I think of that earlier?

Oh yeah. They fucking chained me up.

Minutes later, I saw a small village and clothes hanging on a clothesline.

I didn't think they were home and their clothes were a bit big on me, but it didn't matter.

I fixed my hair a bit to make myself look somewhat presentable since I needed to get money.

The gleaming pearl earings in my pocket got dried off and I found a bike.

I stuck to the back roads as the main roads were too dangerous.

I saw a pawn shop of sorts and walked inside.

"What can I get for this?" I asked the cashier who eyed the earrings.

He inspected it closer. "Girl, where did you get those?"

"My grandma. She needs medicine and told to sell these," I lied.

He nodded sympathetically. "Alright. I can give you... ¥100,000 (1,000 USD)."

Perfect.

That's more than enough to get the fuck out.

"Thank you. Where's the nearest bus stop? I have to pick up my grandmother's medicine in Tokyo."

"Oh, it's a long away. I think the better option is the train. If you leave now, you can catch it."

"Thank you!"

He nodded, waving his hand. "Good luck."

I abandoned the bus and ran towards the train station, ignoring the numbness in my legs.

I purchased a ticket and bought some food.

With the remaining money, I stuffed it into my pocket and got onto the train.

I knew I couldn't go back to Inarizaki high, the Tsukishima mansion, or Miyagi where my friends and Mizuki lived.

That's asking for to be kidnapped again.

I also knew that Kosaku and Ginjima's parents were working for the government and they themselves could hack into camera systems.

So I bought myself a mask and bucket hat.
