Reader POV

I stared at the former student council-or what remained of it.

"I choose chance."

The four boys handed me the die, staring at me with a frown.

"I had hoped you would choose me," Kita looked away with disappointment.

And I had hoped you would get the menmo that I don't like you.

I glared at them and rolled the die, my heart beating fast but my face remaining calm.

And the die rolled a 5.

The four members looked at each other and scoffed.

"A deal's a deal," I spat. "Now kindly fuck off."

Atsumu was about to charge but Osamu held him back, glaring at me.

"A deal's a deal," he repeated. "One which we will uphold."

Kita nodded at me, sadness in his eyes. "I had hoped that we would grow our family, (y/n)."

Oh, fuck off! You've ruined my life.

"Everyone, say your goodbye."

The twins nodded to me once, putting their hand on my shoulder. "We'll miss ya."

"I won't," I snapped back. "You all ruined my life."

They each said their goodbye, Kita the last to go.

"Rintarou has already sent his goodbye. He's knocked out right now." Kita said.

It was just us at the top of the tower now.

"I see." I held the gun in my hand, planning my next move. "Well, it's been fun, Kita."

"It has," he agreed.

"Yes." I looked at him in the pale moonlight, my heart hurting. "Had you not done what you did, I might've fallen for you. We might've had a family together."

Kita's eyes mirrored his heartbreak. "I'm sorry, princess."

"I know you are." I allowed him to hug me. "But Kita, you and the rest of the council must uphold your end of the deal."

"We will."

"Good. We'll be strangers from now on. Goodbye, Kita Shinsuke."

He stared at me, looking at my lips longingly. "May I-"

"Leave."

Kita did so and I followed him to the ground floor where the rest of the council was, silently cocking my gun.

"This is goodbye, Tsukishima (y/n)," they said in unison, bowing to me. "We wish you the best."

I allowed the boys to hug me once more, my lip trembling.
