"Mommy?" I crawled onto my mother's lap.

She placed her crochet down and placed her hand on my head. "Hello, darling."

"Why doesn't Papa take me on trips with my brothers?" I asked her.

My mother hesitated to speak. "I'm sure Papa wants you to go with him. He wants to protect us, so that's why none of your sisters or brothers or I leave the mansion's property without his knowledge. Aside from Akiteru. He's just...he has a different way of showing his love."

I nodded, accepting the answer. "Hey Mommy?"

"Yes, darling?"

"Who's that new family living across the street in the mansion!"

She smiled and wrapped her arms around my smaller body, kissing my head. "That's the Akagi family. You know they have a son your age?"

"Really?"

"Yeah. Maybe I'll take you there tomorrow."

The door opened and my father entered the room with my brothers, all of them sporting smiles.

"Guess what, Hila!" Father smiled.

"Hm?"

Father slapped Akiteru's back. "Akiteru managed to hunt down a rabbit!"

Akiteru nodded proudly. "Yeah! Oh, and (y/n)?" He tossed me a small bag. "You can thank me later."

I opened the bag curiously and saw candies. "Thank you, Teru!"

My father Tsukishima Izumi and mother Tsukishima Hila were the best parents I could ask for.

My father invited the Akagi family over for dinner and that's how I met Akagi Michinari.

"Whoa! You're so cute!" Michinari jumped around me, running around my siblings and I with excitement.
