Chapter 4. Game start

Pharaohs POV:

The body in Yami arms was Yugi.. His unconscious body in the hands of a psychopath.

"Yugi! Yugi!" I shout trying to wake him up, "Yugi wake up!"

"Oh, I'm sorry Pharaoh. But Yugi won't be waking up anytime soon." Yami says with a sadistic grin.

I can feel my blood boiling with anger, how could he just use Yugi in this situation.

"Like I said, if you guys just leave now Yugi will be with me forever." Yami tells us, as he puts Yugi's face up to his.

"And I'm sure that will cause some problems, right? I mean, you wouldn't want to leave such a pretty face behind?" Yami says with a condescending tone.

That's it. As I'm about to give him a piece of my mind I feel someone grab my arm, I turn around to see Yusei with a concerning look on his face.

"Yusei let me go." I tell him, as much as he wants to help I am not in the mood for it.

"Look Pharaoh he's trying to get a reaction out of you, I may not know what's going on but I'm not him get the better of you."

I scrunch up my face in anger, really getting annoyed of this. Yusei lets go of my hand, as he see I am taking none of it.

"Hey!" As me and Yusei turn to see Jaden shouting at Yami.

"So if we play your game we get Yugi back?" He shouts.

"Correct, no tricks. You know, I'm kinda surprised you're stepping up to the challenge. Why are doing this Jaden?" Yami asks him.

Jaden takes a second of silence before answering. "Because that boy you're holding helped me get where I am today, and I will not let you hurt him!"

All of us are shocked at this sudden display of confidence, and show is Yami.

"Yeah! I mean aren't you two the same person!? Surely you would have some sympathy for yourself!?" Yuya adds.

"Hmm, well aren't I surprised. But I guess I should've expected this.." Yami says to himself.

"Well, if all we have to do is play a game to win him back then I guess I'm playing!" Yuga tells him.

"Yeah! Count me in too!" Yuma chimes in.

Everyone was accepting the challenge, lighting up my mood a bit.

"Hmm, well well well. Looks like almost everyone agrees, except for one." Yami glares at me. "Well, do you accept my game? You have an opportunity to leave still, and you get to keep Yugi's body for yourself."

What is wrong with him!? How can he just think that? I would never just leave Yugi, he's really pushing the limit here.

"Of course! I'm not leaving here without Yugi!" I answer.

"Heh, heh, well if you say so..." Yami replys.

The door behind us disappears and reappears under us. And Yami and Yugi are nowhere in sight..

Then Yami out of nowhere is in front of me, causing my to flinch. He's so close our noses are almost touching. His creepy smirk reappears on his, as his eye's widen in excitement.

"Are you sure about this? You can't go back on this." Yami asks me.

I take a moment to think about it, this strange version of me is holding Yugi hostage and is challenging me and a six other people to a shadow game.

I take one deep breath to gather my barrings, "I accept your challenge."

"Heh, heh, well. Game start!"

As soon as Yami says that the doors open and all of us fall into darkness...
