Chapter 5. The first game

Jaden's POV:

Ok, ok.. Soo I have no idea what's going on..

I was just taking a nap in class, even though my teachers hate it and found myself stuck in a cold dark room with a bunch of strangers and with who I thought was Yugi Moto but turns out I was wrong..

Then all of a sudden another but smaller version of him appears and challenged us to a shadow game betting, you guessed it another Yugi... How many Yugi's are there!?

And now we're falling into darkness, this just has to be some weird dream right..?

Pharaohs POV:

I open my eyes to find myself and the other's in a long empty hallway, no signs of distinction to know where we are..

"Welcome to the first game everyone." What the!? I jumped to Yami sudden appearance, half of his body through a wall and the other half who knows where..

"What? Surprised to see me again so soon?" Yami asks us with a little grin.

Good grief, does he not have to be so condescending..

"Oh by the way, do any of you do track?" Yami questions us.

Track? What does being in track have to do on a game?

"Uhh, no.." Yusei answers, "What does that have to do with anything?"

"Heh, heh, heh, well that may help you a little bit." Yami replys, "Welp, good luck."

Suddenly Yami just disappears and just left us here, not knowing what we're supposed to do...

"Hey, do any of you guys hear something?" Yuma asks.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Yuya replys. "I don't hear anyth- wait, yeah I do hear something! Sounds like running.."

Yeah, it does sounds like running. Could there be more people Yami has brought her?

"Hey maybe we can get some more help from these guys!" Jaden exclaims. "Hey! Over Here!" Jaden waves his hand to signal the runners.

"We're right he-" Jaden suddenly stops his sentence.

"Huh, is something wrong Jaden?" Yusaku asks. "Why you stopped?"

"W-w-wo-wol...."

"Well, spit it out!" Yusei tells Jaden.

"WOLVES!" Jaden screams.

What!? I look ahead and see a pack of wolves running towards us, with a look and their eyes telling us they aren't here to play duel monsters.

"RUN!" I yell to the others.

All of started bolting into the dark corridor not even knowing where we're going...

"I'M TO YOUNG TO BECOME DOG FOOD!!" Yuga screams.

"WHAT ABOUT ME!? I DON'T EVEN HAVE A GIRLFRIEND YET!" Yuma tells him.

"CAN YOU GUYS NOT ARGUE WHILE WE'RE RUNNING AWAY FROM HUNGRY WOLVES!?" Yusei screams at the both of them.

This is not looking good, but if we keep running we might be able to escape them..

"Guy's, just calm do-SWEET MOTHER OF RA!" I suddenly feel a sharp agonizing pain in my leg, I look down to see one of the wolves bitten it.

"OMG! PHARAOH ARE YOU OK!?" Jaden asks me concerned.

"DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M OKAY!?" I yell at him, trying to fight against the tears starting to form due to the pain. "I HAVE A WOLF BITING ON MY LEG!"

"Pharaoh, try to remain calm!" Yusei tells me. "I think I can see the exit!" As he points to a light ahead of us.

"Oh isn't that nice? Well at least you don't have A WOLF BITING YOUR LEG AND RUNNING AWAY FROM MORE WOLFS WHILE BLEEDING!" I yell at him.

"Wow, you are kinda scary dude.." Jaden tells me.

I'm about to lose it, but as we get closer to the light the pain starts going away. Welp, I'm going to lose my leg...

"Finally we're almost there!" Yuma yells, "We're gonna make it!"

And as we step into the light I realized that I no longer felt any pain, I look at my leg and the wolf is gone!

I look closely at my leg and there's no marks! No bite marks or tears in the fabric, how is this possible?

"Congratulations!" Yami suddenly appears in front of me, again.

"You all beat the first round! But my oh my Pharaoh I didn't know you had such a bad temper." Yami says with a condescending tone, "Now where have I've seen you act like that before?"

He wouldn't...

"Oh well! But that's just the first round, and besides.." Yami form starts to change, he begins to grow taller, and his eyes turn from crimson red to light amethyst.. He turned into an exact copy of Yugi..

"And I'm sure Yugi wouldn't want you to leave him all alone.." Yami says, in his Yugi impression.

I can feel my blood boiling, I don't care if this guy is me. No one disrespects Yugi..

Yami then changes back to normal, "Well, I guess I should get you to the second game." Yami tells us.

door appears behind us with the number 2 on it, but underneath it is an eye..

"Well, what are you guys waiting for? It's not gonna bite." Yami tells us.

I can't stand Yami, why does he like toying with us...

"Welp, here we go... I can't wait..." Yusaku says sarcastically.

As all of us go towards the door I see a grin appear on Yami face, what exactly does he planned for us..?
