A New Life

I opened my eyes slightly and rubbed my eyes when I got out of bed drowsy to see where I was. The fact that I was not home, that I came to the camp, hit my eyes. Just then, Evren came to my mind. I should have learned what he was trying to say.

I left the hotel and went to the camp's breakfast area. I couldn't find an empty place to sit. I heard someone saying Funda. I saw Evren who called me over to him.

That's it! I would both find a seat and learn what Evren was trying to say to me. I nodded eagerly and went over to him.

I said "Hiiii" like chirping.

Evren motioned for me to sit beside him without saying anything. It annoyed me that he did not even greet my greetings. He was at least talking to me the day we first met.

"Why are you being so cold to me?" I said, frowning and trying to understand.

  He turned to me and nailed his hard glance to my eyes.
"Because yesterday I did not want you to run away from me on the first day. I didn't want you to cause a breakdown"  He squinted his eyes and looked right into my eyes
"Now" he said as he exhaled sharply.
"Shut up and eat your food!" Then, turning his head and eating his food made me angry.

I raised my hands, which I played with anger and crossed each other, and hit the table furiously.
"What do you think you are, you fool? Do I look like a puppet from there? " I laughed sarcastically. " You are wrong Evren! I'm not a slave to do whatever you say," I said as my teeth were clamped together.

  "Oh by the way" I said, leaning over him at the table. " If you don't stop shouting orders to me, not again, you won't even find me around" Then I waved my finger threateningly. " Watch your words Mr. Evren"

With everyone watching me with a shocked face, Evren glaring at me with anger, clenching his teeth, and standing with his hands clenched, I felt that I had reached my goal and sat down again. Then I looked defiantly directly in his eyes.

"Look at me, little lady, you will make my job even more difficult if you do not stop. I don't want to use hard! Do not make me angry!" he said, approaching me, lowering his voice.  Then he smiled diabolically and said another sentence that would confuse me;

"You can't go anywhere, missy; I arranged this camp."

"Now" he said, licking his own lips. "Stop talking and have breakfast. Otherwise, you won't learn anything from me." Turned before him and continued to have his breakfast.

What was that supposed to mean? How could he have arranged this camp? Oh I'm going crazy! He also knew I was curious. So he knew I would never go.  Otherwise, I would wonder what he meant all my life.

The moment I opened my mouth to speak, I fell silent as Evren raised his hand to stop.
"I said don't ask you questions! Have your breakfast, you must gather your strength."
Without further ado, I turned in front of me and continued to have my breakfast in silence. I didn't like taking orders, but I had to put up with it to learn everything.

  As I turned to Evren to talk when my breakfast is over; Evren stood up.
"Well! Chase me now. Don't make me crazy by saying don't command me, just walk."

I also had limits and Evren always managed to cross these limits.
"Enough is enough," I said as my jaw contracted in anger.
"I would never have come with you if I wasn't a curious person! Oh god wait a second..." I said and looked at Evren in surprise. "You" said in surprise. "How do you know beforehand what i'm gonna tell you" My eyes were wide open, looking at Evren.

He smiled at me and ruffled his hair in arrogance.
"Answer Evren!" I said with pure curiosity.
He grinned arrogantly and turned away without saying anything.
"Ahh Insolent!" I said, shouting from behind. Then I followed him to find answers to my questions.

He stopped in front of a large tree. He sat on the bench under the tree, stretched his feet and watched across the Forest. So I quickly followed him and sat next to him. I was fidgety with the excitement of the questions I was going to learn at my place.

"I am listening to you, Evren."

Evren spoke as he looked across the same expression.
"You were brought here for your responsibilities under the name of summer camp. You will be in my group while fulfilling your responsibilities." He rolled his eyes and grunted with the last sentence.

"Normally I work single but according to our seer Fortest you have very special powers. I also have special powers but your powers are based on prophecy. Fortest wanted me to train you so that you could unleash your powers and use them in time. So I'll be your leader so you don't get in trouble." He grimaced and grunted again.

"I would never want this but Fortest is what it says. I trust Fortest." he said and then quickly turned his head to me.
"If you're ready, let's go immediately. You don't need to take anything with you. You will be able to have what you want whenever you want." he said and winked.

It struck me that he wanted us to leave immediately without getting rid of my astonishment at what he said.
"Evren are you crazy? Breathe at least. What is this speed? Look, nothing you say does not matter to me, okay? I don't want to be the chosen one or anything. I was wondering what to you say; I learned and now I can go." I said while looking resolutely.

"Look, Funda, I will speak clearly" Evren said while looking at me with anger.
"I don't care if you want this or not. You are the chosen one in the prophecy. That's all I care about. I will not leave you when you are the only hope of the chosen ones. Do you understand? You are the greatest hope in our great war with witches. I will never leave you behind. Don't think it's bullshit. This is real. It's a hard fact to believe. It is for you, but you will get used to it in time..."
