The final plan

Part 1

Part 1:
Lucifer exits the elevator and walks into his penthouse scratching his neck, when he sees Chloe at his desk. "Detective!" He says a bit surprised as he stops.

"Oh. Hi" Chloe answers as She looks up from her papers.

"What are you doing here?" Lucifer asks.

"I'm just going over this case. There's something about it that's bothering me. It's probably nothing, but you know me, just gotta make sure." She answers with a small smile on her lips.

Lucifer, still a bit confused as to what She is doing here says. "Of course. Just to be clear, I wasn't asking what you were doing, just why you were doing it here. Not that I am complaining. This desk has never looked so good."

Chloe smiles up at Lucifer and gives small chuckles. "Well, I thought that maybe this could be our new normal. I mean if... if you like it." She says the last part with a little bit of uncertainty in her voice, but Lucifer doesn't seem to pick up on it.

He smiles broadly at her. "Well you work and I drink, what's not to like about that? Especially... if you take a br..." suddenly Lucifer starts to feel dizzy. His vision gets blurry and he stumbles a step backwards as the room seems to spin.

"Lucifer are you alright?" Chloe, who seems to have caught his change in behavior asks with concern in her voice.

"I..." he began But stopped, not knowing what to say. His head hurts and his legs are starting to go weak. "I think I need to sit down." Is what he decides to answer as he turns around and starts walking towards the couch. But he is only able to take a few steps in the right direction before his legs fail him and he falls down on the floor.

"Lucifer!" Chloe says with a high pitched voice as She stands up and runs over to where Lucifer is laying on the floor. She kneels down beside him only to find his eyes closed and it looks like he is in pain. "Lucifer, what's wrong?" She asks with concern in her voice.

He can hear her But isn't able to answer Because he has No idé about what is wrong. It feels like he is about to burn up from the inside and it hurts alot. In fact it hurts more for every passing second. "Don't... know... hot..." He can't form a full sentence and has to stop as a New waiv of pain shoots through him. Lucifer gasps in pain. "Hurt..." is all he is able to say.

But it is enough for Chloe to understand. "Alright, let's get you up on the couch." She says as She helps him stand up. Letting him support himself against her, as They slowly make their way to the couch. Chloe helps Lucifer lay down before She walks into the bathroom to get a wet towel. She walks back out to lucifer and kneel down beside the couch and starts to dab the towel against his forehead.

Lucifer immediately feels a bit better with the cold towel against his burning skin But it's far from good. "Tha... Thank you" he stutters.

Chloe gives him a weak smile as She strokes his wet hair out of his face. But as he once again gasps out in pain her worry is starting to build up. "I am calling an ambulance." She starts to pick up her phone, But before She is able to unlock it Lucifer puts a shaky and sweaty hand on hers to stop her.

"Don't... not... hu... human." Lucifer once again struggles to get the words out. But it once again seems to be enough for Chloe to understand, as She puts her phone back into her pocket.

"Lucifer you are hurting. What am I supposed to do?" She asks as She takes his hand in hers. It breaks her heart seeing Lucifer this weak and in so much pain. All She wants right now is to take his pain away, but She has No idé how to.

Suddenly a thought pops into Lucifer's head and he looks up at Chloe. "Ame... Amenadiel..."

Chloe understands what he is trying to say and immediately picks her phone backup to call Amenadiel.
