Part 2:
Chloe's and Lucifer's eyes met "Chloe..." before he was able to say something more. Chloe had stood up and stormed out of the room, tears in her eyes.

Lucifer looked up at Amenadiel with something that looked like helplessness in his eyes. Amenadiel knew what Lucifer was about to say, But he let him say it anyway.

It seems like the adrenalin in Lucifer's body takes away some of the pain because he can talk a lot easier now. "You have to convince her to let me go. I am not letting Michael anywhere near her or her offspring." Lucifer says with a somewhat steady voice.

"Lucifer you know just as well as I do that is not gonna happen. But if it is someone who can convince her of that it is you Lucifer. You are the only one with even a little chance at getting through to her." Amenadiel says and gives him a small knowing smile. "So let me help you walk out to the balcony so you can talk to her."

Amenadiel helps Lucifer out of the couch and helps him make his way over to the balcony door. Before he opens the door he takes a huge breath and looks at Amenadiel who gives him a small nod. Lucifer opens the door and stumbles out on the balcony. Only to catch the Wall as fast as possible not to lose his balance. He slowly makes his way over to Chloe where she stands at the realing lost in thought. When Lucifer is just a few feet away he calls out to her not knowing if he is able to take another step. "Detective?" When she doesn't turn around he tries again. "Chloe?" This time she does turn around and what Lucifer sees in her eyes makes him wanna kill Michael even more than ever before. But before he is able to act on his anger another wave of pain shoots through him and he realizes he has to sit down. "Co... could we... sit I ca..." once again the pain makes it hard for him to get the words out.

This however seems to get Chloe out of her current state. She is immediately beside him helping him over to the couch and They sit down. "I am so sorry Lucifer." Chloe says without looking up at him, her eyes glued to her hands in her lap. "But I will make This right, I promise. If what Michael said is true, that the poison he used is the same that Kenly gave me. Then there is an antidote. Kenly mentioned it once, But he never Said where it was or how to make it. But we will figure This out, Lucifer together."

Before she is able to say something more Lucifer cutes in. "Detective! Stop." That makes Chloe look up at Lucifer. He looks eyes with her before he continues. "Please stop. There is no time detective. You heard him, I have a week left, tops, and to be quite ho... honest with you I am not sure that I will make it that long. So please detective, let us spend the little time I have left together and not with you... running around looking for an antidote, that prob... probably doesn't exist." He struggles to get all the words out in one rant and for every Word he says he can feel Chloe's pain growing, which only makes everything so much harder.

"No! No, I refuse to believe that Lucifer. It has to be another way, there always is another way. I am not just gonna stand here and let you die. You don't deserve that, not like this. And I... I can't lose you, I just got you back." Chloe stutters with tears in her eyes.

Lucifer reaches out and takes one of Chloe's hands in his. "Please Chloe... I am begging you. Even if This antidote does exist. We don't know if it works or if we will find it in time. Can't we just enjoy the few days we have left? I don't want to go without spending as much time as possible with you." Lucifer says This time with a steady voice.

Chloe can see the pain in his eyes, not only from the poison But also from his emotions. And she realizes that This is the least she can do for him. "Okay Lucifer, If... if that's what you want... then I guess that's the least I can do for you." She says her voice breaking at the end of the sentence.

"Thank you" Lucifer says and gives her hand a small squeeze.

"Come on, let's get you inside, it's starting to get cold out here." Chloe says as she stands up and helps Lucifer do the same before They slowly make their way inside.
