I decided to work on a sketch for the book cover and the original character I plan to bring into the series. I'll try my best to bring the cover to life. I'm not an artist, so if the cover isn't good, please do not judge. XD I also finished outlining the first chapter. Yay!!!! By the way, this is the most work I have ever put in a fanfic. So I really hope you like it when it comes out.
Fanfic will take place after the New York Special. Anything canon from Season 1-3 will be in this fanfic. Yes, Adrigami will be in the fanfic. There might be some Lukanette too. If these are not your ships, just please stick around. You will not regret it.
The characters will go through growth, which I think the show is somewhat lacking. Marinette keeps letting her emotions cloud her judgment, which was a lesson I thought she would have already learned. I mean, she let her emotions get out of hand in Volpina. I thought she would learn from this mistake, but no. She has continued to make this mistake over and over again. Even in season 3, she still did not learn from this mistake. This is poor writing, and I believe that Marinette needs to finally learn this lesson. When she is Ladybug, I feel like she needs to be kinder to Chat Noir. She is always putting him down. I know she does care for him, but she needs to show it more through actions.
There are a couple of things I would also like to explore through the fanfic. For example, I will write more scenes for side characters (Marinette's classmates). In fact, there will be an entire chapter dedicated to the side characters. (It will be styled like the episode "Slice of Life" from My Little Pony). If you did not watch the episode or the show, in this episode, all the beloved side characters in the show were given small storylines within the 22-minute episode. I plan to do this. I am still open to suggestions—comment the name(s) of which side character you want to get more recognition.
