Everything started with your smile,
I fell for you at that very instant !
My expectations were way too high...
Though, from me you were very distant.
The things on which I got hooked,
Were your voice, smile and look !
Dreaming about 'us' everytime...
Made my heart cringe and my head shook.
Yeah, it was growing a lot,
I couldn't get a hold of my feelings !
Was aware of the consequences...
But chose to continue dreaming.
Whenever I saw you on the screen,
I couldn't stop squealing !
I was going to get hurt , I knew...
But Alas! I was too a human being.
I wondered when we would meet,
As I was impatient to confess !
But was scared too that what if...
Your answer won't be a 'Yes'.
You were high up there and I was down here,
Our world had a huge difference !
And the ironic part was that...
You didn't even knew about my existence.
But one day when I was forlorn,
I remembered glancing at you for the first time !
Reality slapped me so hard, I realised...
That you're not going to be mine.
I must say, I tried truly hard,
But my tears won't stop but flow !
My fragile heart was filled with hope...
And I was unable to let those go.
It's was never your fault,
It's me who was madly in love with you !
Reflecting that it would be better...
To try my best to forget you.
Everything started with your smile I remember...
You'll always be "My First Love"
No matter what happens in future.
