Emily

"Louis, Zayn, stop it. You're gonna wake Emily up"

Too late, Harry. Too late.

It's been a week now of living with the boys and it was quite nice. My days have been more eventful than usual. I kind of like it. It feels a little less lonely with people in this place. Liam and I would sometimes go out and buy some groceries when we run out of food and other necessities. We made a rotation of who would do the dishes, who would be cooking for the bunch, the laundry, and all of the other chores so we have equal responsibilities. But you know, the lads are so messy at times, it's crazy. Niall wasn't lying when he said that them being neat isn't going to last very long.

It was Saturday so I didn't have any work today. But I have a meeting or two for a school project. I sighed and stood up. Looking at my phone, I saw that it was 8 in the morning. I put on a bra, learning my lesson for forgetting that I literally had five grown men with me in my home. Not to mention, world-known celebrities. I got out of the room and went to the living room, seeing Zayn and Louis on the mattress, playing on their phones. Harry was on the bench, who was giving a disapproving look at the two boys who Niall and Liam were nowhere to be seen.

"I told you, you'd wake her up" Harry sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Sorry, love" Louis said, looking up from his phone. "Sorry, Ly" Zayn did the same. I tilted my head. "It's fine. But did you just call me, 'Ly', Zayn?" I asked him. He has been calling that for quite a while and I am quite confused why. He grinned. "Emily or Em seems so overused. And I want to call you something unique and cool. So 'Ly' it is," I chuckled. I looked around looking for the two missing lads. "Where's Niall and Liam?"

"Liam went out to grab some take-out food, don't worry he has a good disguise, and Niall is taking a bath," Harry explained. I nodded then went to take a bath.

Harry

I swiftly peeked at Emily to make sure that she's already in the bathroom. Once she was inside, I quickly got the attention of the other lads.

"Alright boys, remember what we talked about yesterday?" I asked them. Louis and Zayn looked up from their phones and nodded. "Okay, Liam isn't just buying take-out food, but he's also buying ingredients for Emily's cake and a bunch of stuff for food on her birthday," I explained to them.

We recently found out that Emily's birthday was Sunday next week which is perfect because now she can relax and not work on her special day. We're now planning on surprising her with a mini party and a few fun activities. "Have you thought about what we could do throughout the day, Hazza?" Louis asked me. I leaned on the wall and crossed my arms, shaking my head. "I can't think of things that we could do without people noticing us. All I have in mind is watching movies and that's it" I told them.

"How about games?" Niall's voice said, coming out of the other bathroom. We turned to him who was ruffling his hair. "What do you mean?" Zayn asked him. "I saw a few games just laying around when I got bored the other day. There's Uno, Jenga, and a whole bunch of other games," Niall said, standing in front of us, placing his towel over his neck. "So we have games, movies, we've got food, now... do we invite people that are important to Emily?" I stated. Louis sighed. "That's where I get a little unsure. Because like she said, she's been living on her own since she was 17. And all she really does is work and school, we haven't heard of any friends or even a boyfriend. And she never mentioned any family" he said, shaking his head. "Do you think something might have happened to her and her family? I mean she never talks about them. Are they not on good terms?" Zayn said, looking at the three of us.

We remained silent for a while. Because we really didn't know. Did they kick her out? Did they have a fight about something? Were they having family problems?  We can't ask her those questions since she doesn't seem to like to talk about them. We're kind of worried about her. We just want her to relax and enjoy life, but as Louis said, all she ever does is work. If she's not working, she's doing stuff for school. She says that Sunday is her rest day but she still doesn't really get to fully unwind. Our thoughts were cut when we heard the doorbell rang. I walked towards the door and peeked to see who it was.

I opened the door, revealing Liam carrying two bags of groceries. "Hey, help me get these into the cupboards so we can hide them," he said. I grabbed one bag and placed it on the table. Louis, Niall, and Zayn appeared next to us and helped out in hiding the ingredients. "Quick, grab the take out food, so we have a cover-up," Liam said. Niall took the Mcdonald's food from the other bag and put it on the dining table. "By the way, we have movies and games for her birthday, but we still need to discuss whether we should invite people or not, soon" Zayn informed Liam. He nodded, just as Emily opened the bathroom door. She does that just to release the heat from the hot water but doesn't really go out right away.

Niall and I quickly grabbed the grocery bags and stuffed them into the master bedroom. Once we got out of the room, we saw Emily, going out of the bathroom. "Oh hey, you bought burgers!" Emily exclaimed, smiling. "Yeah, you like burgers?" Liam asked, chuckling. She nodded, with an adorable smile on her lips. We really like it when she smiles. She just lights up the room when she laughs and smiles. And she doesn't d it that much, so it's nice when we do see her, happy. "I love crappy food. I haven't had burgers in quite a while," she said, as she dries her hair. "Well, today is your lucky day, because I got two burgers per person," Liam told her, grinning.

She playfully dropped her jaw. "Oh honey, that is the right decision, because I usually get two of everything that I eat," she said in a weird accent, making us laugh at her. I liked it when we get to spend some time with her. Those times were always so much fun and interesting since we get to know each other more while hanging out. We began to eat our food and talk. "So how's your stay here, so far?" Emily asked us, before taking a huge bite of her burger. "We love it. We really are getting to take a step back and just relax. Plus, I really loved being with these boys," Zayn told her, smiling at us.

"Why is Zaynie getting emotional?" Louis teased him, with Zayn slightly glaring. I laughed. "Oh give Zayn a break, Lou. We haven't been with him for years, let him be," I told Louis, smiling a little. "I'm telling you, Louis, if your boyfriend wasn't here, Zayn would have kicked your ass, already," Niall said, laughed. Louis and I stopped to stare at him.

Oh Niall, you idiot.

"Wait, what?" Emily said, looking between Lou and me. Niall then realized what he had done and just looked down to eat his nuggets. "Did you just say, boyfriend?" She asked Niall. He looked at her and shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said, rubbing his cheek. I turned to Emily, preparing to tell her the truth. I briefly looked at Louis, signaling that I was gonna confess. "Okay, so Emily, what I'm about to tell you is a very important thing to us, and we aren't allowed to put this out in public, so I am asking you to please keep this a secret," I slowly told her. She nodded. "Right, what is it? Because you're kind of making me scared, right now," she said. I sighed. "Lou and I, are together. As in, he's my boyfriend and vice versa," I said, glancing at Lou. She slowly started to smile.

"Wait, really?" We nodded. She pressed her lips together, prevent herself from laughing. She leaned on her elbows and covered her mouth with her fist. "Uh, are you alright, kiddo?" Niall asked her, looking a little worried. I am too! I don't know what her reaction is going to be. Is she going to be mad? Is she going to be happy for us? Will she treat us differently now? I don't know. "Yeah, it's just that..." Emily choked out, before giggling. We all looked at each other, confused. "What is going on?" Niall said to us. "I have no idea," Zayn said, scratching his head. "Sorry, it's just... I'm not even gonna lie but, I'm..." she giggled again and covered her face before calming herself down then looking at Louis and me.

"I'm kind of a larrie," she finally said before laughing and dunking her head on the table. I turned to Louis in relief and just laughed as well.

Well, that's just perfect. We ended up laughing for a few minutes. It was just ridiculous. This was nice. Us being together and just having fun. I wish we could be like this forever.
