CHAPTER 7 - Let's begin!

You were born with powerful magic but you were also deprived of it. Even if you don't have magic, you chose to become strong.

You couldn't stay weak.

Not after he sparked your hope.

So then... you trained all of what you have in order to be strong and left your magic behind only to be replaced by mana training.

'Humans are so unworthy of magic and I guess... that includes me' you thought while a surging flow of mana disrupted the atmosphere. You may have not used your magic but when you don't , your mana stores up.

And now your mana is worth 25 years of unused magic , enhanced by your special training only you developed. Your atmosphere became blood thirsty like thr monster you were.

Your sharp eyes met theirs, feeling a chilling sensation go down their spine. They faltered their magic and stances, feeling scared from all the bloodlust.

'You're scared of me?' you thought but this thought was somehow heard by them. The one on the front gulped loudly, clearly standing in fear.

'Don't make me laugh' you thought and smiled.

"She's just bluffing! Don't let her get to you!" A person on the sides shouted. The three competitors were given hope and continued to cast their plan out.

'Too bad' you sighed and ran. You've figured their magic when they were releasing fear. It was subtle but the mana was still there, leaving a trace of three elements.

Fire,

Water,

Wind.

You've decided which one of them contributes the most to the supporting factor and came to a conclusion that it was wind. You hastily sensed the wind magic user and pressed the hilt on her pressure point.

And just like that, she fainted. She may have had great control and great skills but her experience was clearly out of the question.

The fire magic user came at you with fire that can't be compared to those of Fuegoleon's. You shook your head in disapproval and deflected his attacks with your sword.

Left, right, left, left. A sequence can be followed through his attacks and mostly, this is subconsciously done, meaning, he already gave out his defense points unless he changed attack pattern in the last few minutes.

The water magic user attempted to cast a waterball towards you but it wasn't much of a threat when you can merely jump to collide it with the fireballs.

Water and fire doesn't match so this was clearly your advantage. You've calculated that they'll get agitated and spam attacks soon and if that happens, the battlefield will be hard to see.

'they started earlier than I though' you said and dodged the attacks in sequence. You jumped up and felt another attack from the side. You did a back flipped and immediately ducked as you stood up and ran towards the water mage.

When you don't use magic and only use a weapon, it's clear that the enemy's view will focus on the weapon. You switched your sword to your left hand and hastily moved it upwards.

In a split second, the mage's view was directed upwards as you slid your fit on the ground, swiping her off balance. You released blood lust from your aura and she did what you wanted which was to faint.

The only one left in battle is the fire magic user. You wanted to wrap this up quickly but it seems like he wasn't about to give up just yet.

"I hate you. I hate Mary sues. Those who always get their way! You have no idea how much I've suffered throughout my life!" The mage shouted.

You slowed down your defenses until you weren't defending at all. You let a fire shot hit you every now and then, that gesture confused the child infront of you.

'So they're only here because they've strayed from the right path' you thought while the fire mage held a sweaty figure. He kept firing but also felt guilty that you weren't defending.

"What are you doing!? Defend yourself!" He shouted as you keot walking ina steady pace towards him. He furrowed his eyebrows, unable to fire another spell.

"How are you so willing to lose!? Are you stupid!?" He shouted in an agitated voice. You were now infront of him and patted his head.

"You weren't even using magic..." He said and broke down. You leaned on his ear and whispered, "Because I already lost everything"

His eyes widened when you spoke. Your words struck him and add the fact that you were labelled as mute.

"Power isn't everything... Find those true people who'll support you then life will become easier. That's what happened when I met Fuegoleon-sama" you whispered once more.

"Yes, you heard that right. I am nothing but a servant to the Vermillions. It just so happens that they saw strength within me and someone out there will see yours too" you finished.

You took a step back and everyone was curious as to what happened. He dropped on his knees and clenched his fists. He already knows that he has been defeated. In secrecy, you've just used a magic item that transmits what you think aloud.

You patted his head and went to walk away from the stadium but the others didn't want that. All of them attacked you with their greatest spells and it was so fast that you're not going to able to dodge them.

You suddenly felt a hot atmosphere surround you. You were inside the elegant flames for your Captain. He was carrying you in his arms as he left, still keeping the barrier around the both of you.

This warmth was different from the others. You became comfortable and snuggled closer to Fuegoleon's chest as you drifted off to sleep.

"If you need me, I'll always be there" Fuegoleon told your sleeping figure.

"That moment you talked to that fire mage and sparked up light in his eyes... You're one of the reasons why I still believe in the goodness of humanity" he said and looked at your tranquil figure.

"Even though you, youreself is broken... You still chose to give light and that's admirable" he commended you.

"I know that you'll heal when you are ready to, not when they say you should. Another job well done, kitten" he said with a small smile in his face.
