"RYDEL!" I yelled. I instantly pulled her into a hug. Her grip was so tight on me, it was like this was the last day of her life. Like her life depended on it. "Ellington I-I.." She started stuttering.
"Rydel what did you do?" I was getting worried. "I took some pills, and I-I" I cut her off. "Rydel how many? Rydel please!" "27." She said quietly. "Guys come down here NOW!" As the family pile into the room, I watched as their jaws dropped and hugged her. "We need to get her to a hospital." I told them. "Why?" They all said in unison. "She took 27 pills! She needs to get her stomach pumped!" And as the sirens came down our street, and I got in the ambulance, I watched as my bestfriend, my true love, and my everything, died in my arms saying "I always loved you Ellington. I always have." and with a broken heart, and heavy eyes I pushed a ring onto her now limp finger. I'd waited to engage. I'd waited for her and now she was gone. Rydel Mary lynch was gone.
