Dragons, goblins, short swords, bows, long rests, taverns, brothels, dungeons, spells... You may be asking what in the world do these have in common and how do they tie into the story? The answer for that is... you'll find out soon enough.
Amino an app, it's a great app to find people with similar interests as yourself. (Yes it's a real app no this is not a ad.) In the D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) group or more accurately in several of them a Dungeon Master searches for a party to play in the homebrew world she has finally finished building after 6 long years of working tirelessly on every detail of what this world has to offer. A new time system, maps of the world, geography and major cities, politics, royal families, and a rich history as complex as that of the earths.
Aribella has finally come to realize that this world, Devros, will never be complete until she has players. She is finally confident enough to run it for a few players. So she has set out on a new quest... a quest to find players. Now you may think this an easy task, but I tell you now it is not and shall never be an easy task to find the right players, no matter what tools you have.
step 1.) find a app or platform.
step 2.) post about the world and what type of players you need.
step 3.) respond to people and see if their schedules aline.
Step 4.) Introduce them to the world and make sure their play styles match.
Step 4 is the most important because if one of your players likes story line and another likes murder hoboing(killing because they can and no other reason) no one enjoys playing
Step 5.) Repeat until you find players that work with your DM style and each other.
