Mira's POV written by Mira
Everyone is a bad person.... Including myself.
That was my viewpoint; that's how I was raised. I had to be just perfect. I couldn't control what I wanted. I had to be straight. I had to not have worldly pleasures. As a Christian I couldn't have anything, I struggled. So, to get away from it all I started playing games, many kinds From video games to role playing. There I made a character her name is Venka. This was my cornerstone.
Finally I tried dungeons and dragons using the character I made. The trouble was finding a DM that allowed half frost giant's. I found just the one and started with a group. I wish I could say my first experience with D&D was good, but I wasn't willing to give up not without at least one good game. I tried again, this time with a new group. Again, very little success I wanted to play more I was starting to like the game. So I found players that's when I met her. My salvation.
I found Aribella on an app called amino. We made fast friends. I was still bound by my shackles of Christianity. I started to play D&D with her. My affection for her grew.
Then... I quit my job, breaking the first chain around my left hand. I started doing things that I wanted to do with her, another chain broke around my right hand. I moved to a new state. Another chain this time my left leg. A storm drove me to her, the last chain at my right leg held me back. I had to be right about being straight..... Right?Haha wrong. The last chain holding me back shattered. That night I did something I never thought I would do. I fell hard for the woman of my dreams.
Little did I know there was one more chain around my neck .... Choking me.
