~The Next Day~

<Dahyun's POV>
Lunch time, again... which means, roof time. I was about to head upstairs when I heard a Japanese-like voice call me from behind.

"Dahyun-ah!" The voice called. I turned around and saw... Sana?

She ran to me and stood on front of me.
Right beside her was... Momo?

"Me and Sana-" So she's Sana?

I came back to my senses when Sana spoke, "Are you going to the rooftop? Can me and Momoring join you?"

"Ummmm-"

"Great! Let's go!" Sana exclaimed. She dragged me up the stairs and Momo just laughed at us.

We got to the rooftop and realized there were only 2 seats.

"Oh, what do we do now?" Sana asked then pouted. Woah, that was cute- WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING?!

"T-Take my seat, Sana-ssi..." I offered.

"Are you sure?" I nodded at her question. "Thank you, Dahyun-ah!" Did she just hug me...?

Sana and Momo sat down on the chairs and I sat down a bit on the table.

"Daebak, I didn't know it was so cold up here!" Sana exclaimed as she shivered. I turned to Momo all snuggled up in her jacket, smirking at Sana.

"I learned that the first time I was here." Momo explained in a teasing manner. Sana glared at her.

"H-Here, take mine, Sana-ssi..." I handed her my jacket.

"I never knew you were so nice," She said as she took the jacket. "Anyways, why are you always up here?" I was about to answer but the door opened and revealed a short girl... Chaeyoung? Chaeyoung and I used to be best friends back then, until we drifted apart when she got new friends...

"Dahyun!" She exclaimed with tears. Then she hugged me.

"Chae, w-what happened?" I asked as I hugged her back.

"It's Mina... She ignored me yesterday and today... She told me to stay away from her..." Is this because of the breakup? Did I cause this?

Chaeyoung dragged me to the edge of the rooftop and said, "I know what you do here since we were still friends back then... But, please don't stop me from this. If I don't have Mina, what even is life...?" Chae...

"Chae... Don't do it, she'll come around buddy... Just wait for her."

"For how long?! She's the reason for my happiness! What would happen to me without her?!" She exclaimed in tears. I glanced at Momo and signaled her to go get Mina. In the meanwhile, I was hugging Chaeyoung as she sobbed on my shoulder. I stroked her hair, this method calms her down. Then Mina came dashing through the door. She quickly hugged Chaeyoung and asked worriedly, "Why? WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK OF DOING THIS CHAENG?! Don't leave me...! I'm sorry I yelled at you!" Mina cried.

"I won't... N-Not anymore..." She cupped Mina's face. They hugged once again and made their way out.

Momo and Dahyun made their way back to the chairs and found a dumbfounded Sana.

"SORE WA NANIDATTA?! WATASHI WA KONRAN SHITE IRU!" Sana exclaimed. Huh?

"She said 'WHAT WAS THAT?! I'M CONFUSED!' in Japanese." Momo explained.

I sat down on the table once again and explained to them the story about my promise to my grandpa.

"I've been doing this for half a college school year now. 5 more months until I can finally join grandpa, mom, and dad." I added to end the explanation.
