A new love

A mysterious man?

Naruto slowly came round. At first, he was shock on the new environment he woke up in but soon recalled the previous events. This time, he smelled something delicious being cooked. His ears and tail were still there. His fox instincts kicked in and he followed the smell until he reached the kitchen of the cottage.
' doki doki' his heart pounded as he saw a familiar raven headed man. Was this fate? The raven haired man turned around and smiled warmly at Naruto. Obviously, Naruto's blush reddened into a deep red. This was the first time in ages his heart skipped a beat.
"Awake?" The raven haired man question the tiny blonde. Naruto blushed as he realised that the raven head was the owner of that cottage.
" I'm so sorry 😣. I was just too tired and went to the nearest shelter place I could find. By the way, my name is Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto told the raven haired man. The man accepted his apology but soon smelt smoke from the pan he was using.
" Oh shit! 😱" the man cursed and focused back on the pan. " My name is Itachi Uchiha," the man continued.
"Itachi Uchiha... wait... UCHIHA?!?" Naruto mumbled to himself but his voice raised by several decibels when he said the last part. Itachi was a bit taken aback but soon gained back his composure.
" Are you Sasuke's brother... He did mention he had a brother," Naruto said softly this time.
"Yes... How do you know him? How is he doing?" Itachi asked. Upon hearing that, the sparkled in Naruto's eyes died out. He hesitated before telling Itachi everything about Sasuke and their relationship. Naruto's chest felt more and more tight as he continued, tears gradually forming.
