I had on skinny jeans and a light t-shirt. It was a Dj shirt, meaning it had a dj board on it and headphones. I looked pretty cute, I was with my mom. I was actually leaving to go on my date.
"Love you bye momma." I smiled and waved from the door.
"Love you boo, be safe." She smiled and blew me a kiss. I blew her one back and walked out of the door. I glided my hand over the railing as I skipped down the stairs of the apartment building. I memorized these walls by now. I knew mom wasn't coming back, but I had this endless hope for her to. I mean her and my dad were perfect, and were meant for each other.
"Hello?" I asked into the phone as I made it to the door.
"Hey, we still on for tonight?" Kyle asks.
"Yeah ofcourse. Where we meeting again?" I asked opening the door to my car.
"Scooters pizza, if that works for you." He says seeming nervous.
"That's great, see you there." I smile and he hangs up. I slide my phone into the cup holder of my car and bring the engine to life. I sang along to the music playing on my radio as I drove down the street and took a left, pulling into the parking lot at Scooters. I parked my car and checked my makeup in the little mirror. I smiled and got out of the car. I had my keys in one hand and my money in my pocket. I was texting Gilinsky and Sam as I walked towards the door.
I opened the door and looked around the place. I haven't been here in like a week. The familar green wallpaper was on the wall with the random pictures of the type of pizza they have there surrounded me as I walked on the tile flooring. I looked down at my feet and noticed my shoe lace to my hightops was untied. I shrugged it off and looked back up.
"Hey Court!" A guy behind the counter waves.
"Hey Stan, how are you?" I ask smiling.
"Great, you haven't been here in a week, what's up?" He asks handing me a coke.
"Oh, just enjoying my summer break." I smiled.
"How's you and Sid? You guys okay?" I asked and a little blonde sticks her head out of the back.
"Hey Court, you look pretty today, who's the lucky guy?" Sid smiles.
"My friend Kyle from school, he's actually walking in right now." I smile looking over towards the door.
"Ooh, cute." She smiles.
"Hey!" Stan states and we both laugh at the statement. I turn and smile at Kyle. I let him lead to a table and we both sit in a booth near the back.
"Sorry I was late. Traffic." He said nervous.
"Don't worry bout it, I was like five minute down the street." I smile and he smiles back. We chit chat for a little while and Stan brings us some pizza.
"I have a question to ask you." Kyle states as I wipe my chin with a napkin with manners.
"I have an answer for you." I smile and he does too.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks and I smile.
"Yeah, ofcourse." I stateand my phone starts ringing.
"Great." He smiles and notices my ringing phone.
"Are you going to get that?" He asks and I check the caller ID.
"Nope, they can wait." I smiled. We talked for another hour and we both ended up going our seperate ways. I got in my car and called Johnson, he answered and said everyone was over at his house.
I pulled up to the familar house, considering it was like a second home. I jumped out of the car and locked it, skipping to the door. Before I could knock the door opens.
