"Courtney... Courtney... Courtneyyyyy." I heard some girl say while pulling on my arm.

"What?" I ask looking at them calmly, I had just fallen asleep.

"Can I sleep in your bed, I've never been at an overnight camp and I'm scared." The little girl states with tears in her eyes.

"Ofcourse." I smile and I scoot over. I fluff my pillow and lift the blankets up. She climbs under the blankets and holds a stuffed animal and I hold her comfortingly.

"I couldn't sleep the first night either.... never can... but, this place is nothing to be scared of." I state and she nods.

"Thank you." She sniffles and I drift back to sleep.

I sit up, moving so I don't wake up the little girl that came up and slept in my bed last night. I walked to the front door quietly, not disturbing the girls. I was wearing shorts and a camp shirt from two years ago. I saw the sun rising and checked the clock on the wall. It was 7 am and I had to wake the girls up at 8.

"What are you doing?" Matty's familar voice asks. It was all scratchy from sleeping, and he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"We have to wake everyone up in like an hour." I state and he nods, yawning.

"Go back to sleep you weirdo." I state and he waves good bye and I laugh. I change into some actual shorts and a current camp shirt. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail. I put on some mascara and concealer and deoderant and perfume. I put my bag under my bed, quietly and grab my lanyard and adjust the bracelets on my wrist.

I grabbed my clipboard and walked out side. I headed to the mess hall and opened the door. I smiled and waved to the ladies behind the counter. I was wearing some simple running shoes and I walked to the chalk board that says what we're having for today.

"Hi Mrs. Renee, what's on the menu for today?" I ask and she smiles at me.

"Breakfast is pancakes and waffles with bacon and ham, juice and milk. Lunch is Macaroni and Cheese, with ham and fruit. And for dinner is spaghetti and garlic bread." She smiles in response.

"Thank you." I smile and write the menus on the board. I thanked them again and said they'd be delicious and walked out of the room. I walked to the cabin and turned the lights on.

"Good morning ladies! We have a fun day planned for you." I smiled and clapped against the board. All of the girls groan and Jill comes up and hugs me.

"Morning sis." She slurs.

"Good morning." I laugh and she goes back to her bed.

"Come on ladies!" Selena clapped.

"You all should be thankful that Courtney woke you up, if Red were to come down and see you asleep, we'd all be in the lake." She states and I nod.

"I tried to be nice." I shrug and she laughs. They all slowly get up and get dressed I see the Red house turn their lights on and just now wake them up.

"By the way, if we beat the other groups to breakfast, we not only get the hottest food, we get bonus points and first choice on games." I state and everyone shoots up. I laugh and lean against the door. Red, who's the head of the counselors comes in and hands each of the leaders a whistle.

"Nice job ladies." She states and we smile. They all get dressed and are ready rather quickly. Marty follows what we're doing because she seems confused.

"Ladies, we have one lap to run before you can have breakfast." Selena states. All the girls groan and I laugh. Marty and I watch as they walk out the cabin. They started to run a lap around the building and we head to the mess hall. Selena comes in with all of them after wards and their stomachs were rumbling. They loaded their plates and found places to sit. We thanked the ladies as we grabbed some breakfast and sat in the front. We beat everyone else and I was stoked for the rest of the day. I love camp.
