We knock on Haymitchs door, and as always he doesn't respond. So we just walk on in. I decide to pull a prank on Haymitch. I run to the kitchen to grab a jug and I fill it with ice cold water like I did before the Quarter Quell, and I dump it on Haymitch's head and run back as he jerks up and starts to swing his knife everywhere. " May you explain why to lovebirds broke into my home to bath me?" Haymitch asks.

I just laugh and so does Peeta as I respond." Haymitch we had to bring the good times back take a joke and we have a suprise!" I say. " We're getting married!!!" me and Peeta say in unison. " Well thats great sweetheart and breadboy, took Katniss long enough to realize she loved you." Haymitch says. Wait what does he mean by took me long enough? Oh my goodness I just realized I have always loved him just never knew what love was.

" She sure was worth it." Peeta says as he laughs. " And Haymitch I was wondering if you would hand me of to Peeta because my father is dead?" " I would be delighted." Haymitch replies. We thank him and head home where me and Peeta now live together due to my nightmares.

When we get home I tell Peeta I'm gonna call my mom and tell her about the engagement. My mother and I have been keeping close touch after all these years.

(K=Katniss and M=Her mom)

K= Hey mom what are you doing

M= Nothing much sweetie happy late birthday by the way im sorry I mised I had and emergancy patient to handle

K= It's okay I had Peeta and he great gift, I mean my engagment ring is gorgeous

M= YOUR ENGAGED

K= Yes

M= Honey thats great ..... mhhm ..... mhm ....... Katniss sweetie I gotta go we're loosing patient seven!

I cannot believe my own mom just hung up on me. Well she did have a good reson though but I just start to cry. But Peeta is there to comfort me always. " What happened? " Peeta asked. " Nothing much just parent trouble." I say but I shouldn't be complaining. because of me Peeta has no family. " Peeta I'm sorry." " For what?" " For being broken and you are always trying to fix me and I'm sorry." I say.

" Katniss you are not broken your just going through rough times, and I promise to help you get through them." Peeta says proudly. I just love him so much and I'm so happy I'm having his baby. I would never want to be with another man in my entire life.

Then suddenly I get a knock on the door. Peeta says he'll go answer it. He walks into the kitchen meets my eyes and all I see is fright. He said its for me. I walk to the living room door to find a murderer. Someone who killed my little duck.
