I sit comforting Katniss she just had Willow who is only a week old by the way. Katniss doesn't have any family other than me, Haymitch, and Willow. But only Willow is blood related. I love Katniss so much, I have to help her.
Katniss P.O.V
God I miss her already. And she just left. I have lost to much to many to loose my cool now. I have a daughter to take care of and a wonderful husband to comfort me.
I have to stay strong.
Tomorrow is my moms funeral and the day Prim died many years ago. And I miss them both. I suddenly hear Willow crying. She must know I'm crying. It must be some mother daughter connection because every time I start crying she does.
I run upstairs to see Peeta comforting Willow but she keeps crying. So I sing her a lullaby.
Deep in the meadow
Under the Willow
A bed of grass
A soft green pillow
And she stops
It's amazing how she stops crying when me or Peeta sings. " I love my little girl and my big boy!" I say and brush Peeta's hair and kiss him on his lips. At first he is startled then he kisses back.
