Beyoncé held onto Odessa's hand as they crossed the street. Isabella and Auzie were in front of them.
"Bey Bey! I just wanna know if ice cream is still on the table." Odessa asked. Isabella opened the door for all of them, letting everybody walk in.
"I mean if Mommy says yeah then y'all can have whatever y'all want." Beyoncé shrugged.
Auzie and Odessa looked up at Isabella with longing eyes. They loved Bey and whatever she wanted to do, they wanted to do too. They were her little yes men or yes women you could say.
Isabella looked at Bey who had her shoulders held high. She loved the girls like they were hers, it was really up to her.
"After dinner." Isabella said. Auzie sucked her teeth. "Is that a problem? You don't have to get anything."
"Sorry Mommy."
"Come on, y'all need baths anyway, you stink! To the tub please."
Odessa and Auzie ran up the stairs both of them trying to be the first to get to the bathroom.
"Handful." Isabella said.
"It's nothing you can't and haven't already been dealing with. So you're good."
"I was talking about you. When that baby comes it's gonna drive you crazy."
Beyoncé had told Isabella that she wanted to get Nicki pregnant before Nicki had even asked her to. It was actually what they were talking about at the block party but Beyoncé didn't have enough time to explain that. Plus how would Nicki feel if she'd told her that? Previously she'd already made a scene about being pregnant so Bey didn't think it was a good idea.
"You think I'll have the patience to deal with it?"

"So is that one." Isabella said. They both walked into the bathroom where Odessa and Auzie were splashing each other in the tub.
