Braddison- Why did it happen to us?

Chapter 21

Bryce POV:

It had finally been Halloween. Addison and I had been waiting for this day forever. These last two weeks have felt like a year. It wasn't easy keeping Addison pregnant a secret from them, especially with the morning sickness and hormones. The boys began to notice every little thing. I had stopped going to sway unless we had a meeting or there was business to do. When the boys would ask, I would tell them that Addison and I had been setting up the guest room and it was nowhere near done. But, this was the truth. Addison and I had begun to get ideas for a neutral nursery, not wanting to overdo anything. Tonight Tayler was having a get-together at his house for Halloween before the party. I was thankful for this since Addison, and I would be passing out candy at our apartment. I was fine with not dressing up for the year due to the fact Addison was pregnant. She hadn't been showing that much, but her bump was starting to become obvious. For one, I was happy she decided to dress up since next year we would be in a family costume.

Addison POV:

I was now getting ready in my Harley Quinn costume. The fact that Bryce didn't think I would want to dress up this year was surprising. I was definitely not allowing my pregnancy to slow me down one bit. Bryce and I had still been working out on a daily. I just had to change my exercise routine. I, for one, was so excited about my bump finally coming through. Since it's technically my first pregnancy, my doctor had told me that I most likely wouldn't be huge, especially since I worked out. I was finishing the final touches of my makeup so that I could do Bryce some facepaint so that we could finally go to Taylers.

About an hour later, we had finally finished, and we looked good. Bryce then drove us to Tayler.

B: How do you feel, princess?

A: I'm excited. To be honest, everyone is like our family. Although we haven't told my family, I am definitely excited to tell our friends.

B: Same. I hate keeping things from them. Especially recently.

A: Bryce, I want you to know that you don't have to come home after every meeting right away. I would like you to spend time with the boys, even go out.

B: I know, but I just feel bad. You've been dealing with the morning sickness so much that I like to be around to make it any better

A: I love you, Bryce, but you are definitely overbearing, and I know it's because you are protective, but once they know, hopefully, you feel like you can relax. I love you for it, though, and I appreciate it.

We had arrived at Taylers, and I grabbed the plaque we had for the announcement. We rang the doorbell, and Tayler answered it as the joker. "Ahh, Two Harley Quinns & Jokers for tonight party, huh Tayler said"

A: Is everyone here already?

T: Yes, we were all waiting on you guys. I hope that living with Addison hasn't taught you that it's okay to be late, Bryce.

B: Oh, of course not Tayler, but you know how Adds is. I have one more thing turns into seven, and I try not to argue with her since I like sleeping in the bed.

I walked through the door, leaving the boys at the door to find everyone else. Each couple had looked amazing, and it definitely made me a little sad that we would not be going out tonight. Guys, Bryce and I have an announcement for you. So if you could please come to Tayler's living room, I would appreciate it.

Ja: What is it now, Addison? I mean you and Bryce with all these meetings. I don't understand what yall do for a living.

A: Hey, Mads, you want an alive boyfriend tonight. Or is it okay if I turn him into a corpse?
