Braddison- Why did it happen to us?

Chapter 24

Mads POV:

After Bryce and Addison left, I pulled Dixie into Bryce's old room since I know the boys would try to hear. It's not that I didn't want the boys knowing, but it was the fact that I knew they would tell Addi. Dixie sat down, incredibly excited for what was next. I opened the letter and told her not to scream nor make any suggestions to Addison. I opened the letter, and it read a boy and a girl. I smiled, a little addi and Bryce. Oh, would they be such a party animal, but so sweet—such a dangerous combo. I told the girls that we would set the gender revel on December 18. It leaves just enough time to go Christmas shopping and to go home before the snow trip. I then went downstairs to tell the boys about the gender reveal and texted everyone to come. People would get two buttons for what they believed that they were having. Since Dixie and I were the main ones in charge of the gender reveal, we wanted to ensure that it had Addison and Bryce all over it.

M: Hey, babe, do you boys still have the Polaris?

Ja: Ya, babe, why?

M: We are gonna need it for the gender reveal. We are gonna put smoke in the back and have Bryce drive it.

Ja: Do you think Addison will be okay with that? I mean, you are basically bringing the party animal out of the cage.

M: That's the point. We are gonna do the typical smoke while Bryce and Addi close their eyes. They will be wearing all white. Then we will let Bryce have his fun on the Polaris and grab pictures of that.

I had everything planned. I needed everything to go perfect for them. They deserved the best. A part of me kept feeling like fate gave them twins. I feel like maybe the baby they lost is somewhat given back to them. And I loved that for them.

Skip to Saturday

Dixie POV:

It was now Saturday, and I was in charge of bossing people around and making sure everything is perfect, or Mads would kill me. I knew Mads had to do last minute things like getting the cake and the confetti shooters for everyone. The balloon arch people just arrived with the sign that said, braddisons twins. It was so adorable, but I couldn't cry, yet it was too early. I began to boss people around until I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I looked up to see Noah.

N: Hey, babe, the boys and I are betting about who gonna be the godparents.

D: I feel like they are gonna pick two sets, but I feel like it's between us, jads, and Jessa.

N: That's what I was thinking.

D: But, Noah, you can't distract me. I need to finish making sure everything is in place before Mads gets back.

N: I'm about to get ready. Did we get them a gift?

D: Yes, I already wrapped it, so you can't see what it is

N: I know what they are. Personalized pouty animal onesies for the twins.

I was almost done making sure everything got set up correctly, but then it hit me that Addison and Bryce would have to choose. A part of me felt like it should be me since I've been there for everything, and I know Jaden would have the same reaction. It would all just be about who it comes down to. I was able to get dressed and do my hair and makeup finally.

Addison POV:

Today was the day of the gender reveal, and I could not sleep since I was so excited. Although Bryce had fallen asleep, the twins were up and were very active last night, which reminded me that I wasn't alone. I knew my friends, and even if I told them small, they would still find a way to go all out. I had Bryce, and I's outfit laid out on the bed. I wanted to make sure we matched, and we were formal since we would be taking lots of photos today. I had a white long dress, with bow sandals. I decided to curl my hair and do light makeup. As I was finishing getting ready, Bryce walked in fully dressed.

A: Well, if it isn't my boyfriend who looks amazing.

B: I think my pregnant girlfriend looks ten times better. But, we need to go because Mads wants us there in 5 mins.

A: I need ten more minutes

I knew Mads would be a little mad. She obsesses over everything being perfect. I don't blame her, but a little time waiting won't hurt. I was finally finished. I told Bryce we could go, and we got into the car and headed to sway.

Bryce POV:

I am so excited for the gender reveal. The way everything had been kept a secret from Adds, and I was amazing and surprising. I never thought that our friends would have been able to keep that big of a secret from us. I already knew that whatever the girls had planned would look amazing, because one thing is certain. Our friends love us and always only want the best for us in the end. I pulled up to sway to Mads and Dixie standing outside with a huge smile on their face. I could tell they were extremely excited for us to see what they had planned. The theme had been a carnival. Only for the twins, I walked around with Addison by my side admiring the pink and blue theme all over the house and outside. There were balls in the pool and a bunch of food and snacks. I then saw the boys in which all had uncle shirts on. The girls had aunties shirt while Dixie and Mads shirt read on the front "keepers of the genders" with auntie on the back. Addison then started to cry

A: I hope you know how appreciative Bryce and I are to both have friends in which care so much not only about us, but our babies.

B: We love how you guys constantly go above and beyond and we can not wait for you guys to be the perfect aunts and uncles.

A: And two couples will be godparents at the baby shower.

Adds went along making sure to speak to everyone as I did as well. We took many photos in front of the balloon arch with braddison twins behind us. I was really enjoying myself and couldn't wait to find out the genders. Finally, Mads and Dixie came out holding the confetti shooters.

M: Now you guys have this to do together, but we have a surprise for Bryce after this.

D: Before you ask Jrod has been recording the whole event getting montage for both of your guy's youtube channel

M: Or maybe a family channel

D: On the count of three

M: one

N: Two

D: Three

Pink and blue confetti popped out everywhere. Bryce picked Addison up and spun her around then kissed her before setting her down on the ground.

M: Okay Bryce we have one more surprise for you, but please don't get mad at me Addi.

Mads led Bryce into the front yard to where the Polaris was and told him to get in.

M: When you drive in around smoke will come out of the Polaris so go crazy party animal

And Bryce did just that. Addison could tell that Bryce missed doing his crazy things, and she had been very thankful that Mads did this for him

A: Thanks, Mads I was beginning to believe the party animal was gone

M: Nahh, we just had to bring it out.

Addison then got a call and it was from her manager.

A: Hey Liv, What's up?

L: Addison they want you to audition for the remake of shes all that

A: But, I'm pregnant

L: They know you won't start filming into six months after the twins are born

Addison thanks Liv and then hung up the phone.

M: What was that about?

A; Oh nothing
