Korekiyo's P.O.V

"Hey, Kaede" himiko asked. "What is this party even for?" And now that I come to think of it, what IS this party for? There hasn't been any special events or occasions. If there was, she would definitely tell us before hand.

"Um, I thought the answer was obvious?" Kaede said, while sweeping the floor with a broom. "Because you guys are single losers, and need to get with somebody as soon as possible!"

"That still doesn't explain the party," I said. "How are we supposed to get with someone? we aren't even interested in anybody."

"Ok first of all, people who aren't interested in anyone don't have to get with anybody, like chihiro for example." Kaede said, "and second of all, you say that like your not interested in anyone korekiyo"

"Because I'm not? I really don't know what you mean by that." I felt bad because I lied straight to her face. The truth is that I was interested in someone.

"The way you act around HIM says otherwise, korekiyo," Himiko says "just admit it!"

"I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about!"

Lie.

"I promise you I'm being 100% serious,"

Another Lie.

"I don't have any feelings towards rantaro! That's final"

Lies just kept coming out of my mouth. Everything I was saying was a lie. And that was simply because of me.

I get all nervous around him. Usually I'm the type to be a bit bold but when I'm around him, it's so different. I become a coward, a stuttering mess. And the only reason why is because I'm in love with him.

"Ok whatever you say," kaede said in an annoyed tone. "But we are gonna play truth or dare at the party, so don't be surprised if you end up doing some thing with him. But it's not like it would affect you, riiiight?" She said that with a smirk on her face

"Riiiight," I said with a fake smile.

I was terrified of what would happen at that party..
