Chp 2.5:Tale of Tokyo II

"After the great War, Lucifer and his followers were thrown away from the holy gates of heaven by the archangel Michael. Seeking refuge, they stumbled into the human world. However as at that time, the human world was only developing under the influence of Adam and Eve, God did not want any interference from the demons and thus put them into Hell. It was at this  time that God thought about making heaven into 2 parts, Eastern and western Heaven. These parts each, had administrative districts known as sectors. One of the primary tasks of the sectors from Western Heaven was to create a committee tasked to finding a suitable Ruler for Hell as it was only a matter of time before Lucifer would begin to get out of control. Under the administration of the committee, Hades was appointed as the ruler and given all the authoritative powers respectively.
Under the command of Hades, Lucifer and his accomplices were allowed permission to be decardiaced for about 100,000 years as punishment for defying the Supreme rule of God."
"I'm sorry for interrupting, but what do you mean by decardiac?" Mark asked feeling extremely clumsy for disrupting Tokyo's flow.
"To decardiac means to remove ones heart. If it were to be done to any human, he/she would most certainly die as the unpumped and unmoving blood would rot in the same veins and nerves meant to carry it. However, one mustn't forget that Lucifer too was an angel and as a result he could very well, survive the process of getting decardiaced. When an angel gets decardiaced, the body is in a state of coma while the spirit is simply put to hyper sleep. God was afraid that lucifer might try to channel his spirit into someone else to do his bidding and as a result 'locking his spirit was given utmost importance and this objective was achieved by the decardiacing method. Now with the story.
Afger the 100 000 years,once Lucifer's heart was safely restored the restrictions put on Hell too were slowly released. However, little did God know about the powers of Hell for it was and still remains an unknown land to the angelic masses with its own set of dark magic. Once the fallen angels were set free from their sentences, they began to roam around Hell. It was at this moment that the spirit of Hell, started seeping into their bodies."
"The spirit of Hell?" Mark muttered under his breath.
"Yes. It is a fact known to very few but ........Hell was where the First World for Humans was meant to be. However, something went terribly wrong during the experimentation and as a result,God had to abandon Hell and create a new land somewhere else, in a completely different dimension for the Human world to grow. That land is what you now call Earth. God may have abandoned Hell,but its spirit still lived there. As God had left the process incomplete, even today hell grows as a land, complete with rivers and seas in the south and mountains and valleys in the north.
As I was saying, as the spirit of hell started seeping into the fallen angels, they started acquiring power over the five elements and emotions such as anger,hatred and a sharp thirst for blood. Such angels slowly transformed over the years and then became demons.
Although Lucifer's heart had been restored, he was still kept as a prisoner for another 100 years. All this while, the administrative folks in western Heaven thought that Lucifer had accepted defeat but it wasn't due to fear of God that he accepted the punishment. It was as if Lucifer wanted to punish himself."
"Punish himself?" Mark stated not completely understanding what Tokyo meant.
"Yeah. You see, if I were to describe Lucifer in two words it would be 'sore loser'. After the great War, lucifer just couldn't stand the thought of him being defeated by an archangel. Therefore..."
"...Lucifer punished himself as a reminder to not make the same mistakes which he did in the past!" Mark completed Tokyo's sentence.
"Yup" Tokyo said as he gave a nod. The angel removed a silver goblet out of one of his coat pockets and put it on Mark's study table. Suddenly, water from an invisible source started the filling the cup! Mark watched in bewilderment as the water filled up to 3/4th of the goblet and then stooped just as abruptly as it had started.
Tokyo picked the goblet up and took a sip. Seeing the amusement on Mark's face, he gave him a curt nod before continuing . "Now, as lucifer was being kept in the prison, human souls who had committed crimes began entering into Hell. This had 2 negative effects number one, the population of Hell started increasing at a steady rate and thereby increasing the number of victims.s for the spirit of Hell to feed on.
Number two, admirers for Lucifer grew. To the rest of hell, lucifer was a symbol. A symbol of Rebellion, a symbol of hope. To them, lucifer was the man who had opposed the most powerful force to ever exist in the universe, the force of God. For them, lucifer was nothing short of a hero. The spirit of Hell too, had taken a liking to Lucifer. As it so happened, the spirit of Hell had tried entering and possessing lucifers body , but such was the strength of the fallen angel that she couldn't even lift his hair, let alone possess him."
"I'm sorry, she?" Mark blurted out.
"Huh?"
"Well, you referred to the spirit of Hell as 'she'" Mark said.
"Oh right....yes. The spirit of Hell is a female spirit. Some often go as far as to say that after she couldn't possess lucifer, she became his silent admirer. This ofcourse would be of utmost profit to lucifer for the spirit of hell is the only living thing who has seen most of hell. There are about 5 portals through which you can travel from Hell to the Human world. Heaven has authority on 3 of these portals. The other two though have never been found and as a result, demons still continue to crossover to the human world. Now think about it this way, Lucifer wants to go back to heaven to take revenge on his father ie. God. However, God would never exit heaven as any other land is far unpure for his majesty. So the only way, lucifer can fight the war is through entering heaven. For entering heaven, he needs to have leverage. And that leverage is you Earth. You see, God created the earth which symbolically means that the earth is a being of his own blessing. If lucifer starts sending more and more of his demons to Earth, there will be a time when due to the extreme imbalance of spiritual pressure between the two worlds, the enrire ecosystems on Earth will start collapsing on their own resulting in a major catastrophe. As this catastrophe was caused by lucifer ie. One of the sons of God, God will be forced to interrupt it and, accept Lucifer's conditions for a final Great War in heaven. "Wait a minute, if lucifer wants to have a final battle in Heaven, why dont you let him? After all, God is almighty, and already defeating lucifer once, his armies have experience too so defeating the devil a second time shouldn't be much of a hassle." Mark said slowly, processing what all the angel had told him.
Tokyo gave a sigh and rubbed his temples in a dreary manner. "The thing is Mark,there will be a lot of chaos not only in heaven but on earth too. The last time this happened, an entire galaxy was destroyed. Loss of life has to be kept minimum and if possible even zero.  Plus, lucifer hasn't reached the stage yet where he can successfully get the leverage.   The Unified Angellic Council, the highest decision making body in heaven had already predicted that something of this sort would happen. As a result about 1000 years ago, 4 cards were sent to earth along with a group of  7 angels. The cards each had special powers of there own and would choose their carriers ie. The person responsible for protecting them on their own. In return for the protection, the card would lend its power to its carrier. These cards were the Ace of Spades ♠️, the ace of  hearts❤, the ace of diamonds ♦️and the ace of clubs♣️.The angels were tasked with teaching humans the art of alchemy and exorcisms to human individuals who showed potential  and also establishing a power network of spiritual energy known as the 'shatam rekha pavitra chakra' meaning the 100 lines holy chakra. This chakra comprises of 100 spiritual power lines coming from all the important spiritual places on earth and converting their power into a singular source. This power combined is used to maintain the spiritual energy of Earth thereby preventing someone to open a direct gate from Hell to earth."
Tokyo stopped abruptly and removing a pocket watch, glanced at it.
"Well, unfortunately time hasn't been on our side tonight. I will stop for today as I have to run an important order back in Heaven. However, as I promised you, you can ask me any questions before I take your leave." The angel said as he put both the goblet and the pocket back into his coat.
Mark's eyes immediately shifted from the wheelchair to the corner of the room where the katana was kept. "That" he said pointing at the sword. "How the hell did that sword end up with you!?" He spoke, his gaze still fixed on the hilt of the blade.
Tokyo smile,' like father like son' he thought. "As it so happens, this sword belonged to a certain someome and that someone had a chamber reserved for him in the Angellic Department for Human Safety. This sword was kept in that same chamber and had a powerful spell casted upon it which would bring the sword to you whenever you were in life threatening situations. As fate destined it, i happened to be in the same chamber when the sword suddenly disappeared. It took me a while to pinpoint its exact location, but the monitor at the head office displayed  that the sword was headed to St.Christford, Maryland. Once I saw that name on the screen, I knew that it was time. The sword dosen't teleport itself for no reason so I had fhe depaetment do a paranormal/spiritual scan on the entire area  basically it searches for any high spiritual pressure based entity or demons. The two demons who took shelter in the bodies of dead wolves immediatelyshowed up on the map in form of 2 little dots."
Tokyo got up and went towards the swords, Mark's eyes, following him the entire time;tears already welling up in them.
"This,Mark Jefferson is not an ordinary blade it is a honjo masamune.          (considered by many to be the finest Japanese blade ever forged, this sword is the master piece of the legendary craftsman masamune who lived during the edo period in Japan). This sword belonged to none other than your father. Rumor has it that there were 2 swords and one of them was made in such a way that it could accept spells being casted on it. Your father, Fredrick didn't want you to get into this mess with Lucifer and God and other stuff. That's why he chose to keep  the sword in heaven, away from you and your mom. I had my own suspicions whether you could prove yourself to be worthy of the sword. However, when tonight, the sword teleported itself across the realm, my doubts had been erased right from their roots. Considering the question about how the sword reached me, you dad had named me its guardian unless it chose you or any other suitable 'host'. As a result, the moment you were out danger, this sword returned back to me. Now that I have been removed from its guardianship, the sword will continue remaining with you until the end of you life or of the blade."
'All this time.......while I thought dad had abandoned me......it was him who saved me right from death's hands.' Tears rolled down his cheeks and his vision blurred. His hands cupped over his mouth as he started breathing heavily.
"Who......exactly was my father?"
Mark said barely able to move his lips as emotions took over his body.
"You dad.....was one of the bravest men I have ever met. He knew abandoning you was hard. After all, what kind of a father wants his son to hate him all through his childhood? The ace of Spades ♠️ the most powerful of the 4 magic cards had choosen him as a result he had 2 options,both resebling equally harsh roads which he had to choose. Either take your mom with him on journey filled with dangers at every turn or isolate himself from the Jefferson family thereby closing all relations between you and him hence, protecting you. He chose the second option and had asked to everyone at the GEA to not contact your mom or any member of your family even when...........he took his last breath."
       Tokyo handed Mark a napkin as the angel caressed his hair gently. 'I'm really sorry Mark . I wasn't planning on being the bearer of ill news to you. Not today and most definitely not in this way.' The angel thought as his eyes slowly shifted to the open window. There was a full moon tonight, the stars lit the night sky as Tokyo thought about what would happen later. ' Afterall this is only the beginning.'
