I Never Understood

I never understood why am I in pain?
I never understood why all my cries and tears go in vain?

But I was alive........
I was alive because I wanted fight......
I wanted to fight that dark soul inside me.........
The soul which forced me to put myself in a cage......
In a cage of my thoughts....
In a cage of my past.....
It's just me and my hollow heart.....
Fighting with each other......
I'm tired of telling myself that it will go off.......
But now......
I'm totally confused.....
Its always the dark soul who wins......
Coz I am clueless about what's going on in *life*....
Wait..?..
Am I even alive?
