Clouds of smoke hovered outside my room. Horrified screams lingered above me. I went for the door and started banging it.
"Mom! The house is on fire let me out!"
I screamed as hard as I could but no help came. Suddenly, a huge shadow covered the moonlight, as I stared outside the window, I examined the mysterious creature, with no doubts I screamed again.
"Dragon!!"
I went for my camera but no! There's no time for taking pictures, I'm in danger. I'm so fucked I realized. So I went again for the door, grabbing the door knob. The beast flapped its wings and screeched, it's not a bird's chirp but somewhat like a lion's, even louder than a territorial lion scaring away people or animals from its borders. The window glass trembled and scattered across the floor.
Suddenly a voice from behind whispered. I know you. I slowly turned and saw the dragon, in human form. Scaly skin, horns piercing from both his head and cheeks, a pair of wicked wings coming out from his back, he smiled and wiggled his sharp claws.
"W-who are you?!" I asked nervously, dropping my body on the floor.
"I'm Ren. Dark Ren, ruler of the eight kingdoms in Nerverglades." Gripping his staff harder, smiled a bit wider.
"A k-king huh? T-then why are you here?"
"I'm here to slay someone with a dragonslayer's blood." He grabbed my neck with his claws as I tried to kick him in the face and escape from the grip of his claws, but no matter how I try I just can't. He's too strong.
"What an easy kill" he pierced his staff inside me and in a blink of an eye, my room, full of clutter, unharmed window glass and darkness invaded my eyes again. It was just a dream. A fucking dream I thought. I examined my room for unusual misplacing but I found none. Sweat raced across my forehead, my heart pounding my chest so I calmed myself. It was just a dream.

I can't do this anymore. Seconds, her hands will escape mine. Fin thought.
"Mika! Hold on tight."
"Enough Fin." she sobbed and looked at Fin. Her tears glittered, rolling down her rose cheeks. The cracking sound begins to tick.
"Fin! Let me go, It's either you or both of us will die."
"I can't leave you Mika I.." Fin paused, thinking if it's the right time to tell his unheard feelings.
"What?!" Wiping her tears on her shoulder. "We're at the edge of a crumbling cliff. Lift me up then we'll talk" She demanded.
"I can't. If this is the last moment of our lives. I wanna say something."
"Fin! behind you." Fin's heart skipped a beat and he turned his head, a growling wolf is already behind him, red fiery stares. Stepping on the cracks, speeding the process.
"Go Fin, Run!!!" Just as Mika screamed, in the top of her lungs, the cliff gave up its grip and sends them falling in deep abyss. The rushing wind flapped against their falling bodies.
"Mika listen to me! I l-like you! I'm telling this because this is my last chance. Hold my hand Mika, let's die together" Fin managed to carve out the words he's gonna say to Mika just a while ago. He reached out his hand, waiting for Mika hold him.
Fin blushed but Mika's expression was plain blank.
"Mika? Can you hear me!!!"
"What did you say?!"
Certainly not. Fin thought.
A strong gust of air sucked them somewhere, leaving the deafening silence inside the cave.
