◇◆◇ Earth ◇◆◇
The dancing sun rays and heaps of clouds is quite a morning show for me. I fluttered my eyes, still thinking about my dream last night. The worst part is that my dream seems so real. I can feel the raging wind that invaded my room last night. The demon's claw that choked me feels real, as if it was not a dream, or a nightmare. What if it's a sign?
"Stephan!" My mom called out and unlocked the door. Her head popped out revealing her red chubby face and stared at me.
"Eat your breakfast because I'll go shopping today."
"Ok mom" I answered softly. I went downstairs limply and stared at my bowl of cereal. I poured more milk and dipped my spoon crushing the flakes.
My mom went for the door and gave me a cold stare.
"You need something?" My mom speaks in her calm voice.
I gave her a negative answer, but before she could leave, a question dazzled my mind.
"Mom?" I manage to speak up. "I have school today."
"You don't remember do you?" She went outside and slammed the door. "You're grounded!" She took the chains and secured the door. The lock ticks and the noise she makes with her steps disappeared. I can see from where I'm seated, the reflection of the gate opening, then closes.
All is silent now. I continued munching and crushing the flakes. I drank my milk, creating a mustache above my lips. I feel like a sir and washed the dishes like a boss. I went to the leaving room and turned on the TV.
"at the grand opening of dragon eggs restaurant, reporting live" buzzed the TV.
"Are you kidding? Dragon eggs restaurant? How? But why?!!" I laughed so hard, until my stomach aches. I wiped the tears from my laughing eyes.
"What can you say about the restaurant's unique name? Miss." Says the reporter
"Plain awesomeness" replies the lady with a dragon tattoo.
"Uhh. Something new, families will look forward to." Says a professor from my school.
"You heard it folks? This place is awesome. I can't wait let's get inside!"
The camera then went black, Running noises in the background. Heavy breathing followed.
"Mr. Jones follow me."
"Roll the camera"
The camera went back live again revealing a guy wearing a battle robe. The camera is focused on the guy's costume.
"Uhh sir? Your name?" Says Mr. Jones, the reporter
"N-name? W-where am I?" Replies the guy in costume, struggling.
"Sir, I'm reporting live and you don't to be embarassed, so answer my questions please."
"Reporting to whom? To the ruler of the eight kingdoms?" He answered, shocked, unsheathed his blade, in defense position.
"Sir calm down! What's with the blade! Are you a cosplayer or what? We just want you to answer our questions, so please drop the blade"
"Questions? Oh ok" the guy with the weird costume placed his blade down. Camera focused in his blade.
I'm sitting in my couch, astonished and entertained. Ruler of the eight kingdoms? I think I heard that before. I grabbed my pillow and opened a bag of chips.
"Name sir?" The reporter asked last one time.
"I'm Fin Grey, call me blademaster" sheathed his blade back and crossed his arms.
The camera went up and revealed a face I'm very familiar of. Every detail is exactly the same. The flaws. My discovery deafened me. I examined it again, head closer to the screen. My throat dried up. I can't believe this. I dropped on the floor, feeling vulnerable.
"Dragon eggs huh? Do they serve them here? We don't cook them in our world. We tame and ride them" This Fin Grey answered confidently.
"Your world? W-what? We don't serve cooked eggs!!" The owner of the restaurant exclaimed.
"Shit! He's crazy. Time to end this madness" the reporter whispered.
The camera went back to Mr. Jones, the restaurant behind him and Fin Grey staring on the horizon.
"Back to flash news studio!"
I turned off the TV, lying on the carpet, still in deep shock.
The guy I saw, this Fin Grey, a blademaster, or a crazy cosplayer, looks like me. Almost the same.
Why in the world would this happen?
