Dewin walked out onto the apex of the tree and took in his surroundings. A large bird covered with metallic green feathers, which seemed to ebb and flow as if they were alive, was nestled in its perch of crisscrossing dead branches. The beautiful feathered creature was weeping and singing a somber yet blissful tune.

The bird did not budge one bit when Dewin walked over, who instantly noticed that the raptor was injured. It had been pierced with an arrow, blood flowing down its shimmering body.

'Are you in pain?' asked Dewin, and the bird nodded. 'Don't worry. I'll help with your suffering.'

Dewin now must choose what to do. Use the last dregs of mana he has left to heal the creature or put it out of its misery.
