Dewin had barely got out the magnificent sword from his robe when the beast vanished and materialized right before him, its horns seconds away from impaling him.

But as if the sword had a mind of its own, it met the horns at speed Dewin thought impossible and cleanly severed them.

The now un-horned beast looked horrified by what had happened but was on the attack again. It charged Dewin with all its might.

Dewin was light on his feet and side stepped out of the way. And as the creature passed, the emerald sword came down with a vengeance, taking its head off.

'Holy bull crap,' Dewin panted, his heart racing like it has never raced before. He then shot the sword in the air and bellowed, 'I HAVE THE POWER!!'

At this, sadly, the sword morphed into a beautiful and dazzling green bird and soared off down the tunnel from where Dewin had come.

'Come back,' Dewin yelled at it.

He was about to run after the bird when he vanished in a blink of an eye.
