An adventurous heart and a knight (Galacta Knight x Reader)

Y/N was a lonely wonderer who lived an adventurous yet dangerous life.
Exploring her planet was her only reason to live; she spent her days running around Planet Pop in search for treasures, places and mysteries yet to discover.
Y/N always brought weapons she fabricated herself with her and she also carried a metal shield she forged herself to be able to protect herself from the dangers of her planet's most remote places. She was excedingly brave, and her only true fear was not being able to find anything new on her trips.

One day, Y/N was determined she would discover a new place.
She wanted to take a new direction and explore an obscure part of the planet where she'd never been to: she had never found the courage in her heart to go somewhere that looked so dangerous.
"I am Planet Pop's bravest adventurer! I gotta do this!" she shouted, knowing that no one could hear her in such a remote and fearful place.
The girl wondered in a deep, dark forest for what seemed like hours. The trees seemed higher than skyscrapers: the girl could barely see the sky which colors were turning darker and darker as the sun was setting. She felt lost and helpless, but not hopeless! 
After some more walking, the girl could see a light not too far from her: she felt like she was finally reaching something even if she had no idea what that was.
As she got closer to the light, she noticed it was part of something bigger: she found herself in an extraordinary cave, filled with minerals and gems that reflected the light emitted by the lava that was flowing inside it.
The inside of the cave was huge, but warm and strangely welcoming. Y/N, who was extremely tired by all the walking, decided she would use it as a shelter for the night.

The morning after, Y/N woke up, disturbed by a blinding light.
She stood up, she brought one of her hands on her forehead and she squeezed her eyes to try and see where that light came from.
She got closer to it and saw a kind of rift that had opened mid air. She recognized that was probably a portal: they weren't that rare on Planet Pop.
The girl tried getting even closer to inspect the strange blinding rift, but before she could get in front of it...
*BAM!*
A pink crystal emerged from the portal: it contained what seemed like a masked figure.
The light ceased and Y/N stood in front of the crystal, waiting for something to happen: she was confused and kind of anxious.
After seconds that felt like hours, the crystal shattered in a million pieces: it revealed a masked knight who was holding a long, pink lance and sported a shining silver armour and feathered angelic wings.
The view of this majestic figure left the girl completely speechless...
But soon, it attacked!
Y/N was defenseless and didn't expect such a quick and strong attack: she dodged it just in time, she could've gotten sliced in half pretty easily!
The girl didn't hesitate to take out one of her weapons and her shield; she attacked the furious knight with the most powerful sword she had ever forged.
The battle went on for quite a bit: that knight was restless and Y/N could feel all of his power and fury attacking her. She felt like she had done something to disturb the sleeping knight, she had no idea what exactly could've bothered him but she felt that maybe she shouldn't have slept in that cave and she kept cursing herself for having dared to explore such a remote place. Had she not been so proud of her stupid braveness and full of herself, she wouldn't have been in such a horrible situation...
Right when Y/N was starting to grow tired, a great idea formed in her mind. She started running as fast as she could in circles, confusing the knight. She then threw her heavy shield with all the strenght she had left and, thanks to her good aim, she was able to hit the knight right on the top of his head: he fainted immediately, but was not defeated.
Y/N sat on the ground and sighed. She was extremely relieved but she straight away started thinking that she might've just done something wrong... she felt like she was just protecting herself, after all, but the goal of her adventures was never to fight someone, let alone make them faint!
The girl recollected herself and took her first-aid kit out of her rucksack: she always brought it with her in case she got severely injured during one of her trips. She got closer to the knight and checked that he was still breathing; she then checked his heartbeat and started dabbing his wounds with some cotton wet with antiseptic.
Y/N decided she had to take care of the distraught knight.

The day after that terrible battle, Y/N woke up with a bad headache but she felt immensely relieved that she was still alive.
She got up and went to check on her "roommate". He hadn't woken up yet, so the girl decided to keep taking care of the deep wounds she had caused on his arms.
Just as the girl was about to start disinfecting the wound on his head... a hand grabbed her arm tightly.
The knight woke up!
He stood up and looked around for his lance... then collapsed on the ground again.
Y/N was very frightened, but... she decided to approach the knight calmly.
She got closer to him and whispered "Listen... we don't have to do this. I'm sorry if I somehow interrupted your sleep. That wasn't my intention at all. I was looking for a shelter and I found myself in this cave by chance."
The knight looked up and locked eyes with the girl, who was almost shaking in fear. 
"I-I was just trying to help you. I'm sorry if I somehow hurt you with the antiseptic, I know it can kinda sting sometimes... I really don't feel like fighting anymore. I hope that you can understand."
The masked knight shakenly got up and got closer to the girl. Was that a good sign?
"My name is Galacta Knight. I've been imprisoned for eons because people feared my immense power. 
Everytime I get woken up... it's because someone wants to fight me. I have become an instrument, I have become just a way to measure a warrior's strenght. If I wake up... I automatically fight whatever and whoever is in front of me.
If fighting wasn't your intention... I never meant to cause you any harm." he said with his deep voice and then bowed to the girl, who blushed at the unexpected action.

Y/N and Galacta Knight decided they would stick together to heal their wounds. In the meantime, Y/N promised the knight she would also help him heal the psychological wounds caused by his prisony and objectification.
As days went by, the two kept getting closer. Y/N still had some issues trusting the knight as she got to know he was literally the most powerful warrior in the galaxy. She felt like he could attack her for whatever reason and she also learnt, thanks to his words, that the only way to imprison him again was to beat him in a fair battle. Even if the girl knew, deep down, that she could beat him with her cunning, as she almost defeated him in their first battle, she didn't feel like imprisoning him again. She didn't want to be one of those people. She wanted to trust that knight, she wanted to trust his power, she wanted to trust those words that kept echoing in her head: 'I never meant to cause you any harm.'

One night, the gems and the minerals in the cave were shining even brighter than usual.
Y/N was reading one of the books she brought with her, when Galacta Knight suddenly put a hand on her back.
The girl was startled by his sudden action, so she turned to him and stared at him in his eyes.
"Y/N. 
We have both healed. Our wounds have almost disappeared and we can move perfectly and perform every action we want. I am sure you noticed it." said the knight in his deep tone of voice. Y/N could hear relief and a tiny bit of joy in his voice.
"Yeah... it's been like this for quite a few days."replied the girl, still pretty confused.
"Exactly. What I'm trying to say is that... you haven't tried to imprison me at all. Even if you're in a flawless physical state." declared Galacta Knight while taking one of Y/N's hands with both of his.
The girl blushed and lost herself in the knight's bright pink eyes.
"Why should I even try to imprison you? I want to trust you. I trust what you told me. 
Moreover, I have promised to help you heal your wounds... you're right, our physical wounds are almost gone, but I'm sure that, deep inside, you still have a lot to tell me." remarked the girl in a calm tone of voice, while smiling softly.
The knight hugged Y/N tightly. They both blushed heavily...

That night they knew, they would forever have one another.
