JACKSON AND SKYLAR WERE talking with kenny, seeing as kenny really wanted to get to know jackson. kenny was even surprised when jackson told him that he's the grandson of dr. harper avery, one of the most famous surgeon in the country and the namesake of the prestigious harper avery award. once these words flew out from jackson's mouth, skylar whispered to him 'show off'
"skylar, hey! do you mind helping me with a few things for the unsaid emily scene?" madison said as she came up to the niece and uncle duo
skylar glanced up at jackson, who immediately nodded "yeah of course" she said as madison smiled and began to walk towards 'luke's house'
skylar began to follow, but not before pointing to her uncle "you better not do anything embarrassing"
jackson smirked to her niece and innocently shrugged "i'm gonna go find babe" he winked before walking the opposite direction

truth be told, jackson wasn't actually going to go find charlie. instead, he walked into the tent that was for crafty's and charlie was surprisingly there, he had his back turned. jackson squinted his eyes, as he eyed him up and down before walking over to him
"d-dr. a-avery, hi! can i help you with something?" charlie asked. except, jackson didn't answer, instead he took a step closer to the boy. charlie's smile fading a bit. "are you looking for sky—
suddenly, jackson is cupping charlie's cheeks, forcing him to look at him. charlie's eyes widen a bit
"are you a good boy?" jackson asks
"excuse me?" charlie squeak
"a good boy. i don't mean perfect, i mean...relatively speaking" jackson continued
charlie slowly nodded as he struggled a bit "yes sir. i believe so"
jackson stood quiet before questioning him "how many sexual partners have you had? i won't judge"
charlie furrowed his brows in pure confusion, but when he noticed jackson was waiting for his answer, he spoke up "th-three"
"criminal record?" jackson questioned
"j-just a warning for trespassing" charlie answered
"why were you trespassing?" jackson asked
"i-i just wanted to go on a hike" charlie stammered out
jackson gives a small nod before removing his hand, taking a small step back. charlie sighs softly before he noticed jackson's stare, making him believe that this conversation wasn't over
"skylar told me that you know about her father passing away" jackson said as charlie nodded "before mark died, he made me promise him that i would look out for his little sky, that i wouldn't let anyone hurt her. i for one, intend to keep that promise till the day i die. so, do i have your word that you won't hurt my niece?" he asked
