Your POV

White. That's all that you've seen for miles, you don't know if it has been an hour or if it has been days since you have arrived here. You stuck with calling this place the Anti-Void since it isn't black like the regular Void but it is instead all white.

"Y/N!" You hear a familiar voice call to you.

"Sans! Where are you?" you look around but you cannot see the skeleton anywhere.

"Y/N I Don't know if you can hear me but you need to reset. It's the only way to get you out of there!"

"Reset? Are you sure that there isn't another way to get me to escape?"

"Y/N, I have to go, but please reset, it's the only way...I love you." Suddenly it was quiet again, you began to cry, you know for a fact that he would remember the resets, but what about anyone else.

"Stupid Chara!" You punch the air in frustration, you once again begin to cry, mixed emotions filled you body, it feels as if everything that you had done was a mistake. You eyes began to feel heavy, until you were enveloped by the inky blackness of sleep.

~~Time skip~~

You wake up with a start, you remembered everything from the previous day, or at least you think that it has been a day. You stand up and look around, still in the Anti-Void. you wanted to believe that everything that had happened was just a dream but you knew that you had to face reality and reset. You opened up your menu, both buttons seem to be heavily glitched. You hover your hand over reset, and close your eyes letting your hand fall.

"Wait!" A voice calls from the distance, a voice you recognized. The entity walks closer revealing that it was no other than yourself.

"Are you...Me?" You say in confusion.

"I am you, but from the future." He speech was glitched and you didn't know why.

"How did you know I was here."

"Because I am you, I thought that we had been over this."

"Right. Well why are you here?"

"I'm here to tell you what happens when you press reset."

"Go on." She sighs.

"I don't know how to put this lightly but..."

"But what?" She hugs you.

"Everything from this timeline will be erased, no more than that."

"Undertale, the universe that we are in cannot handle this much resets, not to mention the fact that we weren't even supposed to fall down."

"What..."

"You,We,Us, whatever, weren't supposed to fall down the hole that day. We were supposed to die."

"Die? But Why?"

"That day that we fell we altered the code, I still don't know how we did but we did. I don't have much time to explain everything. Just know that when you press reset that all will be-" Suddenly she was gone, almost as if she wasn't supposed to be there to begin with. You once again hover your hand over the reset button and let if fall, this time successfully pressing it. Suddenly the ground began to shake, 0's and 1's popping up everywhere. one by one lines of code began to erase. An image showing right before it did, starting with the ruins, then then entrance to snowdin, then the waterfall, one by one so on and so forth. You close your eyes bracing for your demise.

*In another AU*

"And that's why I decided to get with Error." A overly eager Ink says to a bunch of rocks.

"I really need to find a better thing to do with my time." He says aloud. Suddenly his head perks up.

"Something's wrong with Undertale. I can sense it." He opens a portal and walks through it, this is a much quicker form of travel for him. After about 5 minutes he makes it to Undertale.

"What the hell?" He says aloud, he looks around, not a single thing in sight. "What happened here?"

"I was wondering the same thing." Red says walking out of the shadows.

"What did you do?"

"Me? Why would I have any reason to even be here?" Red Says aggressively.

"I guess that's true." Ink begins to look around, noticing little glitches here and there.

"I don't know about you, but I think this is definitely and Error problem." With that Red teleports away, leaving Ink behind to investigate.

"Error? Why would he do something like this? I don't think he had a problem with Classic, or did he?" Ink found himself think if his new found boyfriend actually had something to do with this, he silently hoped he didn't. He didn't want to have to punish Error for deleting a whole universe. But he did know two things, one, he was going to have to talk with Error and all of the other AU's to figure out who did this, secondly he knew he was going to have to do this quickly, because without a base game the AU's would slowly start to disappear.

Author's note

Hey Guys! Thank you all so much for reading this book, it honestly took me so long to write and I had to ask and research a lot about this game just to be able to write chapters, but It was definitely worth it. Anyway, make sure y'all stay tuned for "Universal Conundrum" Which will come out next year. (I'm going to take the rest of the year off to write my main novel.) Leave a comment on what AU's all of you would like to see in the second book, since it will all be about the AU's and their race against the clock to bring back Undertale. That's all I really have to say, bye for now!

(P.S. I might Update this book every so often with one-shots or chapter Ideas that I never really got to put into this book because they wouldn't fit with the course of events or the timeline, so be prepared for that)
