I Reincarnated as a Dragon Prince

1st Growth Phase

It's been almost a year since I came to this world. I am still in my dragon form I can now speak, read, walk and run but recently its been very boring

My expectation of is that we have a really big castle with lots of rooms, dragons flying around all the time and little dragons would be sparring here and there but it was crushed.

I wasn't able to see dragons flying at all. There is a big castle but there is also a house at the garden where I have been in for the past year. 

apparently Dragons should not go out until they can transform into their human form and it is also what triggers the 1st growth phase and i have spent most of the time trying to learn how to do it but I still cant.

I am basically free to do anything as long as I don't leave the garden. So I practiced on controlling mana and I can now cast [Ice Lance] [Ice Shield] with no incantation, I can also do water magic but I still needed to say a few incantations.

I once asked mom to teach me how to read and I got the hang of it pretty fast. I can read a 200 page book in less than 2 hours and I can recite word per word of the entire book. 

Since then I read many books and found out that we live in the Central Continent where there are 4 major clans controlled. I found it weird that Each race have their own continent and asked Dad about it.

"When the Gods created the world, there was just 1 full continent which was a combination of all current continents. each race liven in it the demons, humans, beastmen, elves, dwarves, and mythical beasts. 

But the humans wanted more lands and territories, they enslaved other races, fought wars with each other and the demons wanted the same. these actions angered the gods and split them to the current positions and made 2 beings with powers to stop the war and to keep them in check. 

One became engulfed with fire and became made out of mana while the other was given the strongest body with the power of Ice, the Red Phoenix and the Blue Dragon. but they were not enough so the gods lent some powers to  a White Tiger and a Black Turtle.

These 4 worked together and stopped the 1000 years of war and brought peace and asked the gods to forgive them and to separate them in each continent which the Gods agreed to and they were given the central continent. 

After the war some beings wanted to serve each of these 4 Heroes. They then shared their blood with them and became their people, these people had a fraction of their power passed to them and gained abilities, and different characteristics the tigers had fast speed, turtles had sturdy defense, the phoenix had strong affinity to fire and are hard to destructive, and the dragon clan had strong control on mana with stronger body".

Over 100,000 years had passed since then and based on the recent records there had not been any big event that happened other than the resurrection of the Demon King and the invasion of demons around 200 years ago and the God's have given the Elves, Beastmen, Dwarves and Humans the right to summon Heroes from other worlds.

Right now I am sitting in the middle of the flower field with my sister and grandma practicing magic.

"Jecs when in our dragon form our mana is being released all over the body to the max without any restrictions and to transform you need to guide them to a single spot to form your core and that core and once it is formed you will also get a reverse scale." - Ellie

"The reverse scale is the hardest scale in out body but it is also our weakness because once its broken or taken off you will be weakened by a significant amount." - Ikoe

"But grandma if its broken can it be made again?" 

"Yup but if it is going to be harder to make it and if you succeeded you would still be weaker then before it broke" - Ellie

I closed my eyes and tried to feel the mana inside me.

I can feel that my mana is coming from my chest and travel to my limbs, tail and my head before going back to my heart.

Then I slowly guided them back to my heart and kept them there.

There is now a clump of mana in my heart growing as I guided the rest of my mana there.

After a few minutes it was all there and it felt like it is as big as a basketball and looked fragile and I thought if its this big then I might have a big reverse scale so I tried to compress them to the smallest it can be.

Compressing it is harder than I thought and it took me 3 times longer than when I gathered it but the result is satisfactory and it is now as big as the hole of a sewing needle from my previews world.
