"congratulations, you've all made it to the second room of lordanos elda. you made it out, just in time, with five seconds left on the clock." the voiceover came over the speakers once again, making the room smile at each other and john gave kenzie a quick highfive. 

"gosh, i hope we don't lose anyone else" nadia voiced out quietly, not daring to say it too loud, because jules was still a little down about asher being brought to the hospital. 

"as i've said before, you've gotten yourselves into big trouble, kids. that first room was just a teaser. come on, addition? piece of cake." 

"can someone get me cake please i want to eat cake" lily complained, making john snicker. 

"what the heck how many months pregnant are you? please don't tell me you and will did something without us knowing gosh you already have pregnancy cravings?" john, the biggest relationship spy and "breaker-upper" in their group said, making the whole room start chortling.

"now, you may be wondering why this room is so, let's say, romantic. is anyone here a hopeless romantic? i sure hope not, because someone here's lost their wedding ring, and they're getting married in forty five minutes" the voiceover chuckled, making jaeden, the hopeless romantic of the group, gasp.

 "how on earth are you supposed to get married without your ring? that's so sad oh my god" he made a sad face, pouting at lauren. "imagine getting married without your ring" 

"holy moly the hopeless romantic is back" nadia exclaimed, making all the girls start giggling. 

"imagine lauren getting married to jaeden—" 

"oh my god shut up!! i hate you two" lauren's cheeks became red as jaeden hugged her from behind, and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. 

"my dear, your face is really red, are you good?" jaeden chuckled, while putting a hand on her forehead. 

"oh god jaeden please stop" john, being john, made a puke face. "i don't freaking want any laeden babies to be made in an escape room while i'm trapped in here with you guys "

the man cleared his throat, "well well well, seems like there is someone in here who feels for mrs lordano. can you kids help her find her ring before time runs out?" the group all made faces at each other, before jumping at the red alarm that rang. forty five minutes were on the clock, and they were on a race up against time. 

"choppy, where do you, maddie and mom normally lose your rings?" john asked, trying to get a better of idea of where they should look. 

"maddie's are always under the counter or under her bed or something, they always fall off the edge." lauren shrugged, before continuing, "and i have no idea where mom loses her rings" 

"lauren always loses her rings in her pockets" jaeden spoke up, fully knowing that one of lauren's rings she came in the escape room with was in the inside pocket of her jeans, and that she'd be looking for it in a few minutes. 

"how on earth do you know that, martell?"  

"i'm always with her when she loses them, orlando."
