"So you're like terribly rich, probably richer than Zhong Chenle--"

"No, Chenle is like filthy rich. I'm just living my life comfortably." I gasped in amusement. This guy really doesn't know how rich he is. His father is known in the whole of Korea for being the most brilliant CEO in the country. He won countless awards for his works and owns a hospital, a shopping mall, and 5 branches of hotel nationwide. He is like royalty. Both him and Zhong Chenle are like the princes of Korea and China. Plus, their overflowing handsomeness and talent. Then here he is, saying he's 'comfortable'. I forced a smile, "yes...so, Mr. comfortable, why do you hide the fact that your dad is like...the one and only Park Jimong? The legendary businessman of Korea?"

"Once people get to know who I am, all eyes would be on me like my older brother. I hate that."

"So you're a shy type," I mumbled. Timidly, twisting my hair. For a minute, I forgot that he is my school crush. Then reality hits me again, and here I am. "I'm sorry, what?" He asks. I looked at him with a very confident face. I smiled at him, "so...your brother is the actor Ji Soo right?" I blinked fast while smiling. I am a huge fan of Ji soo, he's like super hot. He's the reason why I like Jisung, they look so alike. Now that I know Jisung is his brother, no wonder they look alike. Jisung stared at me confused, "you want his autograph." A bigger smile showed up on my face as I nodded. "You're crazy, we just met."

"We are in the same high school, Jisung." He scoffed, "that doesn't make us friends."

"We are seated here, at the hospital cafeteria while you talk about your family. Aren't we still considered as friends?" He scrunched his nose. We've been talking for an hour now and he still doesn't consider me as his friend. This guy really is something. "I suppose I can be friends with you," he replied. I let out a scoff. This guy sure is picky when it comes to friends. I pursed my lips and smiled at him, "so...how is Ji Soo behind the scenes?"

"He's a very caring brother," he really is a good man. I can't believe I'm talking to his brother right now. How I wish I could meet him right now. I don't even know if I'll still have this big fat crush on Jisung after meeting his brother. "You like him that much?" I nodded, twisting my hair between my fingers. I have a huge possibility of meeting him anytime soon, now that Jisung is my friend. "We shouldn't be friends then," he stood up from his seat. I got startled and unconsciously grabbed his hands. "Why?" I said it with a bit of a cute voice.

"You only want to be friends with me because of my brother."

"No, that's not what I meant. I'm just a fan of your brother but really, I wanna be your friend." He looked at my hands. I was holding it tightly, not letting go. I know, I'm quite dumb for begging him to be my friend when I have hundreds of that. There are just these tiny sparks that tell me to befriend Jisung. "You really want to be my friend?" I nodded.

"Why?"

"My instincts told me so." He chuckled. Cute. He's not believing me and I'm kind of frustrated. Yet, how can you be frustrated by such a guy! He sat down, slightly leaning towards my direction. "Does your instincts also tell you to do dangerous stunts?"

You dare question my instincts? I sighed. My instinct isn't the one that makes me do the dares. It's the adrenaline rush and my eagerness to avoid being a kill-joy. I'm just a carefree young woman who wants to live a joyous life, stress-free, and with no regrets. Those dares that lead me to danger? those are the dares that make me kind of satisfied. I like acting reckless, there's less pressure on you because people have lower expectations of you. Park Jisung just doesn't get it. Probably because his father expects a lot from him. "Dude, just go with the flow." He smirks. Is that a good kind of smirk? or the smirk that boys in dramas and books do before doing something bad?

"You're a funny being," he commented.

___________

After that small talk with Jisung, I head straight to my room. It was lunchtime, I can't miss lunchtime. As if on cue, the nurses brought in our food. The bed beside me had a fermented egg with rice and seaweed soup. The bed in front of me had bibimbap and the bed beside her had a beef stew. Their food got me excited for mine. Will it be samgyupsal? or kimchi-jjigae? The nurse was fast approaching with the bowl. A bowl...just one bowl...for me. I smiled as she gently placed my food on my table. When she left, I opened the bowl.

Porridge...

Why would they give me porridge? I looked at the woman next to me as she happily ate her meal. She noticed my stares, "don't you like your food?" I wanted to say no, but that'll make her want to give me her food. If I say I like it, then I have to suffer lunchtime eating this porridge. She noticed my silent whining, "you have to eat that." I smiled at her, nodding my way out of the conversation. "You were food poisoned, right? Diagnosed with acute gastritis." I nodded again.

"You need to go on a soft diet. Don't worry, it won't take long then you can eat normally again."

I sighed, remembering what Taeil said earlier. Soft diet it is then. I looked at the woman again, why does she know my condition? She once again noticed me and laughed, "am I that pretty?" She is, it's just that...it's not the reason why I'm looking at her. "You're very gorgeous Ms..." I stop midway. I didn't know her name. "Just call me Mrs. Park. I'm actually a nurse but I ran into an accident last week." She explained. She was a very kind woman, and there was gentleness in her voice that makes you feel safe. Wait...Mrs?

"You're married?" I asked her, and to my surprise, she nodded. She looks so young and youthful. "I have two sons," it wasn't very obvious. She also looked very sophisticated and well-behaved. Perhaps she's from a wealthy family. "You're a very beautiful girl, I'd love to introduce my youngest son to you someday."
