"Lilith..." Ziora said her name and its echo sounded ominously.
The five majestic white flames assembled themselves again. Spiraling into one huge flame and transforming into a translucent, glossy, spirit-figure flower.
Lilith's body smoked into existence, all of her was just like the appearance of the flower. Translucent, glossy, and spirit-like.
"Have you made your decision?" she asked with no lip movement and her hands were down together in front her clothed torso.
"Yes...we have...and we are ready" she said this as though frightened. Why wouldn't she be? Anyone would be afraid to speak of the truth to the person you have been hiding the truth from.
"Very well then...you may begin, whoever, however and whenever you'd like. Also... remember, I can sense and know all the truths hidden in your heart, if I even sense a sliver of a lie...I will not spare any of you. No matter how noble your heart is"
It was a frozen moment. Everything and everyone was solid. Ziora knew she was first...but the truth is not always something that can be easily said. Her feet gave a bit of a tremble as she turned around to face the one she had to tell the truth to.
"Nyozom..." his chest felt hollow at the sight of Ziora's mouth moving to his name. For the first time ever...he was scared of the words to leave her mouth.
His eyes and mouth open just a bit more than it was, and the heart quicken with the passing minutes. What could she have to tell him after all the years of knowing her?
"My....huh....I am usually the type to just...say what's on my mind...be blunt about it...but because I have to do it to someone I'm in love with...I see why The Spirit Guardian chose this task out of the thousands of things she could have given" her nostrils flared as she took a deep breath in...and exhaled through her mouth.
"I love you... always...but...I can't be with you...in a relationship... because.... because....even though I ran away from the village...I will eventually have to return....and they know this, that's why they haven't sent anyone after us this far...once I return, I will have to become Queen of Hikari Village. My step mother only married my dad for money and power, once my dad found out, he exiled her, except for her sister, Ligea...you know...that woman that fought Nyozom on the airship. I found out about this two days ago, when a delivery dove gave it to me. I knew I couldn't be with you years ago. But I couldn't resist your charm. I loved you and love you so much it sometimes hurt to talk about the future. But I digress. Once I become Queen, I will be force by the royal court to find a husband, and according to them...I cannot marry that impetuous, crestfallen, vagrant on the streets. You probably would have moved on if I told you...found someone else to love...so I didn't....I was....I was....scared...N-nyozom" her nose sniffled and her eyes were reflective. She now felt like he hated her for keeping this from him. From not allowing him to move on with his love life.
"And also..." Nyozom's eyes widen more and his heart was on a marathon. She sniffled and continued. What else is there!?
"They already picked my husband. He comes from the far West of the country. In Westarian Village. A prince. We never saw him, not even a picture. But the strangest thing is...we haven't heard a single word about the wedding since it was arranged three years ago. We all just assume Westarian Village is waiting for my dad to die so they can send this prince for me"
It was like a squirrel stopping directly in front a speeding car, unable to move from the shock. It was like an unpredictable cloud shower, including, lightning and thunder. It was like a nail...actually being hammered into a plump, blood filled heart... Nyozom's to be specific. His eyes gave in and he cried. His knees gave in and he fell. His heart gave in and it broke.
