The world glowed and shined. It hadn't been in such vibrance for 1000 years. The flowers bloomed and blossomed and grew quickly along stumps and uprooted trees, twisting and curling around.

New life was all around.

A branch cracked apart with a snap under foot as the humanoid ran panting raggedy. Red jacket swaying in the fresh breeze eyes wide as branches smacked against her as she ran past, the ancient twilight of the stars beaming through the leaves overhead casting the forest in twilight.

The rooftop of leaves shaked and rattled with the crinkling of leaves as the dark clad figure jumped from branch to branch quickly. Eager to catch their prey.

Adora's pace quickened running into a sprint, cursing under breath. The creature overhead pounced, Adora crashing against the ground, grabbing onto its arms as they rolled down a small incline.

Adora groaned and sighed with a tired smirk as the figure then sat on her stomach.

"Heyyy Adora...", Catra grinned, tail wrapping around the blonde's arms,"Looks like I won. Again.", she grinned with a sly smirk as she stood up and outstretched a hand, her hand topped with sharp black nails.

"Thanks.", Adora smiled before Catra swiped her hand away before giggling making Adora groan and glare,

"Ha! You're so freaking gullible!", Catra smirked teasing her as Adora stood wiping and dusting her knees off grass, "Who said you can get up?", Catra raised a brow and swiped Adora's feet from under her, Adora yelping looking up annoyed before tensing, Catra now had her arms beside her, her face inching closer with a toothy smirk,

"Seriously here?", Adora laughed nervously now holding Catra's forearms,

"Why not?", she responded as her tail wrapped itself around Adora's thigh, wrapping her arms around the blondes neck. Their lips connected. Catra giving a playful bite making Adora flush and whimper.

Catra giggling, smirking still. A cough pierced their privacy and Catra sat up tense, tail going on end as Adora rubbed her arms as the cat was now a blushing mess, head pointed aside, eyes closed in anger and annoyance.

"Am I interrupting?", Glimmer smirked, arms crossed, head tilted smugly, Adora rubbing and pinching Catra's cheek before she swiped them away crossing her own arms,

"Can't we have any privacy anymore?",Catra pouted with a sneer,

"Yes you do now get up you two. ",Glimmer smiled.

Adora smirked before shoving Catra off making her hiss. Catra sneered with fangs snarling before she stood arms crossed still,

"Whatever, what's with the intrusion?", Catra asked with a inquisitive brow,

"Well we need you two for another meeting-"

"AGAIN?!", Catra exclaimed, "Seriously? Why?! Can't we just have a day off at all?", Catra asked annoyed as Adora stood up and patted her back before wrapping an arm around Catra's neck, bringing her an inch closer, Catra letting out an annoyed purring,

"We will after we round up the rest of the Horde sympathisers is all! We can't have a few idiots running around spoiling our happy ending can we?", Glimmer responded with a flick of her wrist, "After these handful of missions it's all done.", Glimmer reassured resting her hands against her lap.

Adora smiled looking up at Glimmer, one of her oldest friends aside from Catra who was easily more than a friend at this point, for a few months actually.

A few weeks since it all happened.

Glimmer was once a Princess but now was the the Queen after her mother Angela had gave her life to save her.
