Marinette's POV
"Miraculous ladybug!" I scream to the skies as I throw my lucky charm into the air.
I watch as hundreds of ladybugs emerge and fix the damage caused by the most recent akumitized victim. They rush and amend the buildings in the area, saving me and Chat Noir the trouble.
Mr. Pigeon falls from the top of the Eiffel tower and a black and purple mist surrounds him, turning him back to his regular self. He begins screaming, but it comes to a stop as Chat Noir swoops under him and lands gracefully on the ground. He gives a kindhearted smile to Mr. Ramier. I would never admit it to him but that adorable smile he gives is something I look forward to every day. I may not like him the way he loves me but he can still make me laugh and bring joy into my life.
I watch as the akuma quickly flutters, trying to get away. I take out my yoyo and say the magic words.
"No more evil-doing for you little akuma! Time to de-evilize!" I scoop up the dark-winged butterfly.
"Ha gotcha! Bye-bye, little butterfly!" The once evil creature flies away now white and innocent.
The skies are a beautiful blue, without a cloud in them. Even though we had just de-akumitized someone and I felt exhausted, I still had excitement burning in me. Chat Noir walks over to me and gives me that grin again.
"A penny for your thoughts M'lady?" He asks
"I am excited about my plans tonight is all," I say to him, not giving him the details, in fear it would reveal my identity.
His smile drops, although only a second. I can still notice the mild disappointment.
"Well, we still have a job to do. Mr. Ramier wants to buy us ice cream to make up for the trouble he caused us." Chat Noir informs me, licking his lips in delight.
"An ice-cream sounds nice right now. I have a few minutes before I transform back anyway." I say with a grin.
Chat Noir walks alongside me and we make our way to Andre the sweetheart's ice-cream man. Even though I may not have a sweetheart, his ice-cream is still the best in all of Paris. Mr. Ramier pays for the sweet treat and we all sit down on the bench next to the tower. Chat Noir quickly eats while I savor each precious bite.
I raise the spoon to my mouth and catch a glance of Chat Noir watching my lips. I remove the spoon from my mouth and look at him with a blush. He turns his head away and pretends to not have seen me stare. I'm concerned about him. It seems like he's hiding something from me.
Beep Beep Beep I hear as the second to last spot on my earring fades away. I put my hand up to touch the magical jewel. Chat Noir once again looks at me and gives me that dashing smile.
"I better get going!" I boop my kitty on the nose before zipping away on my yoyo, "Bug out!"
"Bye Bugaboo!" Chat Noir yells to me as I make my way over the many buildings surrounding the Eiffel tower.
I swing my legs in front of me and pull myself into an alleyway. I land perfectly and angelically. I stand up straight and close my eyes.
"Tiki spots off," I say calmly
The little kwami lands in my hands and I can hear her tiny belly rumble. I pull out a macaroon from my tiny purse and hand it to Tiki. She grabs a hold of it and gorges herself with the tiny snack. She flies up and hugs me on my cheek. She thanks me and zips inside of my purse. I pat the purse lightly before casually making my way out of the alleyway. There was no one in the area so I continued on my way. Strolling along the sidewalk I daydream of my plans for later. I had been waiting so long for this coming up dance.
