Adrien's POV

I watch Ladybug make her way to the deck above Marinette's bedroom. I wave to my bugaboo and she gives me a kindhearted smile. Once I hear the zipping sound of her yoyo extending I open my shirt to allow Plagg to fly out.

He lets out a yawn and smacks his lips, "Where is the bakery kid? I can practically taste my camembert on a nice piece of bread!"

I roll my eyes at him, "All you ever do is eat, Plagg. Right now it's time to transform!"

The tiny kwami of destruction lets out a long and exaggerated sigh. I take a piece of camembert out of my pocket and feed it to him.

"Eat quickly!" I rush, "Ladybug needs help and I'm late already!"

Plagg ignores me and continues to savor each bite of cheese. I threaten to transform right in the middle of his eating session. This causes him to quicken his pace.

While I wait for him to finish I decide to leave a note for ladybug so she doesn't try looking for me. I write nice comments to assure her I'm safe. I leave it on the desk and turn to face Plagg once again.

He is still munching. After his final bite is gone I reach my fist out and say the simple transformation words.

"Plagg claws out!"

The kwami groans in annoyance as he is sucked into my miraculous. I watch as yellow and green sparks transform me into Chat Noir. My leather black suit is suctioned to my body, a long black belt wraps around my waist and the rest of it falls between my legs acting as a tail. My dark mask keeps my identity a secret and the pupils of my eyes become slits. Like a cat's.

Leather cat ears appear on the top of my head and a cat bell hiding a zipper to my suit sits below the collar of the suit.

I reach my arm out in front of me. My baton appears in the palm of my gloved hand. I tighten my claws around the metal stick and make my way to the balcony. I must help M'lady.

The darkness of the night enveloped me, the moonlight becoming dim in my presence. I look in the direction of the Eiffel Tower and can already see Ladybug there. Her bright red suit stands out in the night. I leap on my baton like a witch on her broom and extend it. The wind blows my hair away from my face. I leap and race across the city towards Ladybug in the center. My feet seem to levitate and not even touch the ground as I run full speed. Between each rooftop, I leap onto my baton again and extend it to the next.

I make it to the tower in record time and gracefully land next to M'lady. I bow down to her and lean against my stick. Casually looking in her direction waiting for her to explain her intelligent and perfect plan.

Her hair is down and not in her usual pigtails. She looks astonishing like this. Her face is tied in a knot and she is deep in thought. I was standing beside her and made a loud thump when I landed and she still hasn't noticed me.

As I wait for her to notice me I look deeper into her eyes. Guilt and worry are written across her face.

"Why hello Bugaboo!" I greet her cheerfully trying to raise her spirits.

Ladybug jumps in surprise.

"Don't call me bugaboo!" She barks and I flinch, "We have a job to do. Did you receive my message?"

She doesn't even notice the tone in her voice. Whenever she is stressed and yells at me while angry she apologies. There is no coming apology at this moment. Her fists are tight, regret on her face but still no apology coming out of her mouth. I pretend not to have noticed the harsh tone but Ladybug had seen me flinch and knew it hurt me.
