Y/N PERSPECTIVE
It took effort to force my eyes open the next morning.
I groaned and sat up groggily, and nearly shrieked out loud when I realized there was someone in the bed next to me.
Due to my audible startle, Cedric awoke next to me with a start, then quickly groaned and grabbed his head in pain. The hangover was bad for both of us.
Better go see Fred and George for some more of that potion later, I thought to myself.
"What happened last night? I don't even remember getting back here," he mumbled.
I looked around more observantly now. This definitely wasn't my room, so it must be Cedric's.
"It's coming back to me in bits and pieces," I replied, settling back down into bed.
"I'm pretty sure we... well, you know." I looked over at Cedric sheepishly. The early morning light caught his messy tawny locks and made them look almost amber. He looked up at me through his dark eyelashes and smiled, wrapping a strong arm around my waist and pulling me against his chest.
"Yeah, I definitely remember that," he chuckled, scruffling my hair playfully.
"Where are your roommates?" I asked, suddenly noting the absence of other people in the room.
Cedric glanced over his shoulder at the 4 other empty beds.
"Huh. I'm not sure. We must be late for breakfast. Either that or they just never came back last night."
It was quiet, and rather peaceful, despite my massive headache. I laid my head on Cedric's bare chest and listened to his heart beating slowly. He ran a hand through my H/C hair and let it come to rest on my back.
Neither of us spoke, but we didn't have to. We both knew that last night was the start of something. And it felt good.
Just then, I noticed that the still silence wasn't actually all that quiet. My ears perked up as I listened intently to the clamor and commotion that seemed to be coming from the common room.
"What's going on?" I asked anxiously. Cedric propped himself up on his forearms and shrugged.
"I'm going to check it out," I said, and hopped out of bed. I was wearing one of Cedric's t shirts and nothing else. Oops.
Cedric grinned. "I say you go down just like that."
I swatted him playfully with a pillow. "No way. Give me some pants."
And then, clad proudly in Cedric's t shirt and a pair of his flannel pajama pants, I marched downstairs on my own while he got up and started to get ready for the day.
The noise grew louder as I got closer to the common room. Finally, the heavy door was in front of me, and I flung it open. The voices went silent.
It looked as if nearly all of Hufflepuff was standing in front of me. We stared at each other, nobody moving a muscle or saying a word.
Just as Cedric appeared behind me, the room erupted with laughter and jeers.
Flustered, I turned to look at Cedric, whose cheeks had turned bright pink and he stared at something on the wall. I followed his gaze, and suddenly noticed...
The walls were plastered with moving pictures of me and Cedric in the Prefect's bathtub. Naked.
And everybody had seen it.
