The Outbreak

Chapter 7: Ronin - 1

They all came met at the dining hall in Rebecca's home at half past 6 in the evening, as was asked by Alex. They all came to see that there were some weapons laid down on the dining table as well as on the couches too. In total they had, five assault rifles, two pump shotguns, eight pistols, and two submachine guns. There were some magazines and shotgun shells for the weapons too. Apart from that. The baseball bat was also converted into a weapon by Alex. There was a cloth wrapped around below to offer a grip. Large nails were put there around it to make it a spiked baseball bat. There were two machetes too. All of them took the weapons. All of them except Rebecca of-course. She had such great powers so obviously why would she need that. Alex went forward and then told them all to line up. They all did as he said. Then Mathew said,

"Oh right, how can we go on a mission without the leader's motivational speech right? Okay everyone let's line up for the one and only Mr. Ale-"

"Okay that's enough man, just... stay quiet please. Yeah, so the thing is that we would be taking this journey, in not one or two, but three vehicles. There is a jeep, an SUV and a hatchback that Nathan has been able to repair. So here is the thing, we would be going in different groups.

There are ten of us, and although we will take the same route, we will take different vehicles so that it will be harder or them to get us as we discussed this last night.So I have devided the groups,

I, Andrew and Nathan would be taking the Jeep. Mathew, John, Rebecca and Minoi, take the SUV. And finally, Sam, Shaun and Dean, take the hatchback. Everybody, got it ?"

"Yep, I mean it's a little confusing but yeah it'll do. So what's the order of the vehicle, if there is some." Asked Rebbeca

"OH RIGHT, I forgot about that."

"No doubt you did mate, no doubt you did." Said Mathew

"Can we not. Ugggghhhh. Okay as I was saying. Me and my group will be in the front because I have the map. Sam and his group will stay in the middle. Mathew and the rest of you would be at the back. We need as much firepower as we can to protect us from behind, Rebecca I literally mean firepower"

"You got it Alex." Replied Rebecca

"Alright then all of you pack up, load up and then get in your cars. We need to get out of here and remember... that when we do... we have to be really careful for they can come form anywhere and at anytime."

"Okay, everyone in the cars, pronto" said Mathew.

They all went into their respective cars, their weapons all loaded up and all of them ready to strike whatever comes at them. The cars were not at Rebecca's home actually, they were just a couple of houses away from her house, so they had to walk till there. This was because of the reason that Nathan would have to drive the cars to her place at night but then it could have been risky as he was alone and then he might be chased by the zombies who would be awake by the sound. Then they tried starting the car (although they didn't expect them to start in one go and neither did they expect them to work smoothly), but the cars were running like they were brand new. They all congratulated Nathan for it. They were now going to their destination, finally they were in search of Ronin, whoever he or she was.

They had just covered two miles when they faced an obstacle. They had to continue on that road according to the path drawn on the map by Rebecca's spell. But just in front of them were two busses crashed which blocked almost all of the road. They now had to take another route. It wasn't an easy one. The road was narrow, with houses on both sides which meant there was a huge probability of zombies on that road. They were really scared to go through that road, even though there were so many of them(humans). Still, everything was going smoothly until Rebecca thought she heard something.
