They all went as far away from the door as he they could. They finally reached a place which was supposed to be the food court of the mall. The chairs there were all misplaced, broken and then some of them still had bodies on them. The food in the shops was rotten. They were all tired, so they sat on the chairs which were still in okay condition. They just threw their bags, put down their weapons and just lied on those chairs. All of them had wounds from the crash out there, Andrew and Minoi had wounds inside of them as they lost two of their best friends and there was nothing they could do about it. Alex told them that he and Mathew would bring some food, the packaged ones from the dispencers, given that there is still some left in that while John gives them medicine.

"It's gonna be alright kids. I know you guys lost two of your best friends, but we cant help it. I know that you have suffered a great loss and that you guys probably need time to grieve but... I'm sorry, time is something we can't afford. When I lost my best friend, I wanted to cry for days, but I couldn't because I found out about Alex and his friends. I knew I had to save them. It is all necessary for our survival." Said Rebecca trying to make Andrew and Minoi feel better

"Yeah, I ... I just wish that I could atleasthave said goodbye to them." Said Minoi

"Don't worry mate, we're gonna do something one day that will make the zombies pay, okay? I promise that we will", said Nathan as John was applying a bandage on his right arm.

Alex and Mathew first got their eyes at a cold drink dispenser. They didn't have money but they had their weapons. So Alex took his gun and hit that stock of it at the glass of the dispenser. They took some of the cola cans, some water bottles and some red bull. Then they saw that there was an outlet of subway there. They knew that they couldn't get any sandwiches or anything so they got some packets of Doritos and some other cookie packets. Thet gathered as much food as they could and then they went back to where the other guys were. They all had some food, but then it was all messd up due to the crash and of the fact that they were being chased by thousands of zombies. They knew they had to find this Ronin fast now. Nevertheless all of them ate and drank and sat for some time before moving, so as to get some rest for the journey ahead.

"How you holdin' up?" Alex asked John

"What do you mean sir? I am all fine, what would happen to me?" replied John

"John, I know that you are trained not to show your feelings in the state of battle or war, but this is neither of them. It's survival, so the more you hold your emotions, the more will it hurt you. I know that both of them were your best friends... Monrad and Sam. It's natural that you aren't feeling good."

"I... I guess you are right. It's just that the three of us have been together since... almost when we joined. Even though Monrad betrayed us, he was still a great friend of mine, but Sam... he was just like a brother."

"I am sorry man, I really am"

"It'll be fine... it... it will be and Yeah I... I actually guess we should go, I mean that gate must not be the only entry and exit to this mall right?"

"Yeah, you're right man" then he turned to the rest of them and said, "Ok everyone, ready up pronto, we leave in two minutes."

They all stood up, got their backpacks and then started moving. They all took some of the cola cans andwater bottles for their journey ahead. But they didn't keep too many of them as they didn't wanna increase the weight on their backpacks given the fact that they had no vehicle to go with now. They were at the second floor at that time, so they went through an escalator which, to their surpsrise, was still working. They saw that there was blood on the glasses on the shops and there were cracks on it too. Some of the gates (the ones which were made of glass) were even shattered, probably by firing of guns.
